madi, you have inspired me in so many ways. I hope to be you when I finish school, my dream is L&D, PEDS, or NICU. You are such an inspiration to me and many other people who watch you. You are one of the most amazing humans on this app, love you tons!
Aw I’m so glad you like the rainbow badge I made you!!! Literally made my day seeing you use it 🥰 I need that bag for work!! Please link it! I didn’t see it in your storefront. I love you Madi!!!!! 🤍
I’m nursing student and I was not in love with nursing but you inspired me so much and make it lovable for me I hope in the next time you show us some vlogs in hospital thank you for your great vlogs keep going💜💜🌸
Just found your channel and I am obsessed. Subscribed and notification on. I do not know how nurses do it, truly heroes. I could never do what y'all do. Thank you, you're all so amazing!
I start tomorrow with orientation in the neurology unit. I’m nervous, but so excited to actually get my nursing journey started. I’m a LPN, but will be starting back next fall for my RN.
I wish I had had you as my L&D nurse! You seem very much like a ray of sunshine 😊 so considerate with the little flashlight! My nurses dgaf! 😂 2 AM?! Welp, we’re pushing on your belly and waking you up to see if you need anything. Good times as a tired mom 😂
One thing my mom will bring to work a lot is a portable charger, and I’m not sure if you showed it or not but a water bottle or cup as well! and some extra face masks 😷 just in case
Hi Madi! Quick question did you get an Associates or bachelors in nursing? I’m taking pre requisite classes right now and everyone recommends getting my Bachelors because I’ll have a better possibility of getting hired. Please let me know what you think thank you!
Hi! Just wanted to see if I could help. It doesn’t really make a difference if you have an ADN or BSN, you take the same NCLEX. In my state, there’s no pay difference if you have an ADN or BSN, I know it’s different in other states but the amount is really only a couple dollars if that. I really recommend working as a tech in the unit you want to be a nurse (especially if it’s ED/OB/ICU where they only take a couple new grad RNs at a time) Hospitals will always prioritize hiring their own staff before taking outsiders. It’s cheaper to do ADN, you’ll sign a contract stating you’ll get your BSN in x amount of years when you get hired. But it’s also nice to just do it all one go with bachelors and not have to worry about looking for a BSN program. Hoped this helped! 😊
@@moonlightprincess449 I went the cheaper route by doing my ADN but none of my classmates and I had trouble finding a job, I’m sure hospitals are less picky about it since they’re so short staffed 😅
I'd be interested in knowing what the pay there is!! I was a new grad nurse in a children's unit in New Zealand, the pay was sooo little $25 NZD (about 15USD) an hour. Really bad shifts, and very verrryyy short staffed. The pay just isn't worth it for me so I have changed to electrical engineering
15 dollars an hr as a nurse .. wow that's low ... most places its 30-35 in USA and some could be higher depending on the living situation ex california is expensive places so I heard RN can make up to 50 $ an hour ...
Hi Madi! I was wondering how you liked the school that you went to for nursing/how long in total did it take for your program? I’m near the Cleveland area and I was looking into that school. Thanks and congrats on everything you have achieved so far! 💗
love!! I just started my nursing program and it feels so full circle that you're a nurse now! I started watching you my senior year of hs and you inspired me so much!! hoping to work l&d as well!!🥺💕
Our hospital will hire anybody. They usually quit within a few months due to inadequate staffing. In a few years, I think hospitals will have to fork over enough money to adequately pay us, as the world suffers more from these safety hazards.
Joint Commission does not allow nurses to wear gel, shellac, dip, or acrylic nails. I see you are wearing these nails. Does your hospital not enforce this infection protocol?

@@glorianavarrete6785 yea but as of lately they want you to have your bsn I heard, so it might be better to go straight bsn to be more competitive

@@salma31000 It's so bad in other countries as a nurse! We are under valued and underpaid! I wouldn't go back unless they paid me what I am worth
I am getting $47 per hour as a new grad in central California. It's not expensive to live here so the salary is very high for me:)
Great video! 🤩💜

Hehe!!!!!! Being ecstatic just because I was the 1st to comment on your video😁
I would love to know where the labor and delivery specific badge cards are from. As well as the dilation and belly beads!
Fob watches! They are a must :)
Do you still take a lunch box or do you put your lunch and snacks in your backpack?
I hope to get hired on L&D after I graduate from nursing school.

Do you have a link for the lil light?
How did you get an L&D position as a new grad? My teacher said it was so difficult as a new grad.

Awesome. Tfs
Hi Madi, I want to be an L&D nurse in the future but I was wondering how many years of college it is
To become a registered nurse it’s usually 2 years not including the Pre Reqs, that’s what the ADN program at my college is.
Have you any links to the little cards on your badge?
You're so cute!
Where did you get the beads?
I have that wet brush
Random question, Do doctors date nurses??
☺️🤗
good luck
Tide pen I carry in my purse
Your very lucky
Hi
Where is Ahmad Shahin nowadays?
Joint Commission does not allow nurses to wear gel, shellac, dip, or acrylic nails. I see you are wearing these nails. Does your hospital not enforce this infection protocol?
They look like Press ons
Not always you bring suprised our nurses have long nails
I have the same stethoscope 🩺 . I was able to get the “tube replaced” since it had a 5 year warranty.
