Just stumbled upon your channel. You have a very beautiful home. I just started out trying to improve my handwriting and also getting to know more about fountain pens and your channel is inspiring.
Once I heard a reviewer describe Noodler's Golden Brown was like buttered toast! A favorite color of mine, one that shades beautifully. Partially bulletproof too (the yellow washes away when wetted.) Your ink journal samplings are most enviable! Thanks!
The Studio is a spectacular pen. Either in the textured barrel or the smoother glossy barrel some of them have. The feel of the substance as "made thing" is full of intention and purpose. Goulet has a great factory tour video/interview video on their RUclips channel and it is fascinating to see. Love the personal touches the Goulet packages deliver as well.

Really nice video! Makes me want to play with my inks and pens. Sometimes I feel like I have already too many, and some others I see people having fun and want some more. Ink journal is cool too!
I would love a follow up review on that pen when you get a chance to use it more. I have considered getting one myself. Also, I’m going to have to get a bottle of noodlers golden brown, it’s beautiful!
Ecuador86 I will definitely be doing a follow up. I’d like to write with this a couple days, maybe until the ink runs dry. And then I’ll give some thoughts. This will be my daily writer for a bit, so I’ll get to know it well. And yes, that golden brown is so breathtaking!
Loved this video! I've never watched one of your videos before, and I love your demeanor, your taste in pens and ink, and what you shared with us. Thank you for sharing! One question - what is your "ink color" journal? I've been thinking of something more 'permanent' to catalogue all my inks, and that looks like a great place to start. (Update - I just read the answer to my question down below, so consider that answered!) Finally, I hope you continue to feel better every day, get well soon, and have a wonderful Christmas!
I have tried a sample of some browns/golds and orange-y inks and I can’t remember at the moment what one I had but it was my absolute favorite to write with!! That noodlers green is awesome I’ll have to try that!! Take care!
Brittani Gabowitz I hope you can remember that ink, hehe! This Noodlers green has been a pure pleasure to work with. I’ve been using it none stop since it’s arrival.
This video made me hunt this pen down and I LOVE it. It's my go to daily pen. Maybe I will get a vintage pen next. Any suggestions for someone overwhelmed by the thought of vintage pens?
ealaibracket1 Peyton Street pens is a good place to start because they have a very large inventory, are super helpful and do a great job restoring their pens. eBay and Etsy too, but it’s a little more - do your own research and read reviews! Peyton has been wonderful.
DOGGO! Your greyhound is gorgeous! I enjoy noodler's ink for the most part. Sequoia is a fantastic dark green. If you want a permanent ink in that color try the Zhivago green/black. Very similar in color.
Joel Neild thank you! He’s such a wonderful companion. You know, I’ve yet to try any permanent inks. I think they intimidate me perhaps. But I would like to give them a try at some point.
Same here, I have been watching fountain pen and ink/journal/paper videos for over a year and just now saw this channel. Great stuff, love how intimate these feel, very natural and unrehearsed. Perfect for my tastes, and now I have some more inks on my wish list. ;-)
Apache sunrise, lamy accent 😂 a little trouble with names I enjoyed the video and the journal and inks a lot. Nice channel, just subscribed 😁 hope you are ok and healthy
If you don't like the chrome section, the stainless steel or black lx studio has the rubberized version. A friend had the chrome section and I hated the pen only for that reason, but I took a chance on one with the less slick version and it is now one of my favorites! My experience at least, but the sections (rubber vs. Chrome) might be inter changeable, which if that completes it for you might be worth it... (stainless steel is uncoated and is usually cheaper)
Hello dear! I’ve watched you along time now and wondering if you could help me. I consider you my pen expert. Lol I use antique dip pens and now looking to branch out and try a fountain pen. What would you suggest for a beginner, that doesn’t break the bank yet dependable? Also, some of my inks I’ve noticed are turning to sludge in the bottom. Do you have a trick to guard against that?
Hello! I will do my best to help! :D I still feel inadequate, but, there are some pens I can think of. I always recommend Esterbrooks from the 1950s. They’re inexpensive, and easy to find. They were the first mass produced fountain pen (if I can remember correctly), so they’re still plentiful. They have many nibs to choose from as well, and it’s easy to buy nib units separately to experiment with different writing experience. They’re a lever filling system with a rubber sac, and have steel nibs that always seemed extraordinarily well tuned. Maybe a good place to start. Also, as for the ink sludge, I’ve never heard of that or experienced that happening myself. I wonder though, are you using calligraphy inks? They’re different than fountain pen inks. Which, just in case you didn’t know, make sure to only use fountain pen ink with your fountain pens. ;)
@@adventuredenali oh my....you are correct! My inks are Windsor & Newton and they do indeed say calligraphy ink! I had no idea! I thought ink was ink! You have helped me tremendously! I will look into the pen you have suggested and I for sure will by the new appropriate ink! Lol Thank you so much for the help. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and help me out as I know you have many comments. Thanks again! 🤗
I received a Lamy Studio Aquamarine a few days ago. I really like the weight of it. I do not like the clip at all but the rest of the pen is just very lovely.
@@adventuredenali welcome mam. I love you simplicity lifestyle..the ways you live it , cherish the moments and how you fill it with unique activities.. inspiring me and those who lives alone
Love all the colours except for the platinum one (love their carbon ink for my art). Good timing I’ve been looking for sepia & green so spot on! Not a fan of browns or sepia with lotsa red - like the greyed varieties best. How’s the sequoia holding up in your opinion - still like? I’m ordering Air corps Noodlers - I think it’s the first one not one with the can’t recall but some animal because it’s a rich blue-black that has lots of sweet colors making it dark so greens & blues! (And when I saw that I knew why my dad always used blue-black fountain pen ink (army air corps in WW2) in his green Easterbtook desk pen with the bowling ball looking pen holder also in green). Thanks again - hey update us about how you like the pen and what inks you are liking best. Love the idea about making various pens look great together since I usually use a few & am often “Oh darn yucky” when a couple inks just are odd with any other inks in current grouping.
I was going to get a Lamy Studio, except for two things: 1. the clip 2. the shiny metal section. I wound up getting, instead, a Lamy Aion. It costs less, is nearly the same color of green, has a fairly flexible clip, and although the section is metal, it is the same color as the rest of the pen, and it is "sand-blasted." I do like the Platinum Forest Black ink; and the DC Fountain Pen Show this coming Saturday (Aug 7, 2021). There was no show in 2020 due to COVID. I have a number of Goulet decals, but the one you showed finds no favor with me; it looks as if the pen is vomiting tomato soup. My favorite decal is one of a chicken with a device hanging around its neck that says "1670".
Lamy tests all their pens and they ship with residual blue ink in the nib. You probably should have cleaned the pen before inking it. The olive Studio is a pretty color. I have both the olive and the terracotta Studios, and the olive is the nicer one IMO.
miguel oxamendi Ah! Thank you! Noted for future occasions. It was a toss up for me in regards to the terra-cotta and olive. I’m quite content with the olive.
I got the diamine Advent calendar. The first couple of days I was so excited, and while I still am thrilled for all this ink... My desk is getting a little cramped with all the bottles 😂🤘
Fievel Mousekewitz oh how fun! How have you been using the samples? Have you used each one everyday? Haha ink bottles can take up space, no doubt about that!
@@adventuredenali Luckily 24 of them are mini bottles and the 25th is a regular sized Diamine (the ml specs are evading my memory currently). I have tried my best to use most of them. Filled 5 pens with different inks. But setting up a cleaning station in my work office, to use each one, is a bit over the top. So after doing that once, I've avoided doing it again 😂. I don't have an ink swatch journal, but after seeing yours, I really think I should try it. I love seeing all the colors laid out like that.
Very satisfying video! 👍🏻 Very nice colors! 👍🏻 I've always liked extremely dark (saturated) greens, blues and teals. Noodler's have several of those (like the Sequoia Green), but I've also read many negative comments about extremely dark colors from this manufacturer as they tend to dry and stuck inside the pens (feeder) with very hard to almost impossible to clean out. Have you experienced any of this? 🤔
Love your video! I also have Lamy Studio green version but the grip section is far too slippery for me. I much prefer Lamy 2000. Doodlers Golden Brown is great color. Where have your bought the lovely leather covers?
Did you ever stick with the Lamy? Lamy Vista was my first fountain pen and I hated it. It leaked all over the place. I ended up getting a Twsbi Echo and I LOVE the Twsbi. Maybe I just had a bad pen?
What pen would you recommend for someone looking to get their first pen, something in the $50 range? I like fine but not too fine tips. I love the idea of vintage, how I wish we had held onto my grandfathers old pens! And are some inks faster drying or are they all the same?
Noodlers Sequoia Green Ink was love at first write for me as well, the color is really virsitile. Dito with 54 Mass, but a beautiful ink, don't give up with it. Black Swan in English is more to my liking. It's like you're looking in my ink box.
You just showed up-what happened? I to have a passion for fountain pens and typewriters as well. I would love to know if the ink are water soluble. I use both. Perhaps you would touch water to a corner after drying to show how water soluble the ink might be. Thanks.
Hello! :D I can remember which inks I have shown in this video, although I suspect none of them are waterproof. I tend not to use the waterproof inks so much.
I love Lamy but I only have one Studio. I never managed to get comfortable with the smooth grip section and the weight of the pen. The 2000, the Al-Stars - all very nice. Super grip. The Studio - too heavy for me to get a good grip on the smooth section. I sanded it with super fine sanding paper and emulated the 2000 grip section. It's still quite smooth now, but it no longer slips in the summer.
Harald Schuster oh wow, that’s a really good idea to sand the grip section! So far, it has not been an issue like I was originally concerned it would be. And yes, the pen is heavy. I tend to prefer a heavy pen, although sometimes I find myself unposting it when I write just to lighten the load.
@@adventuredenali - I don't know the word in English but there's some type of cloth that has even finer grain for polishing/sanding than sandpaper. With juuuust a little structure the Studio is way more grip-friendly. My favourite is still the Lamy 2000, though. Much less weight (if you go Makralon) and the grip section has enough grip to not slide off. Strangely my unsanded (but not as highly polished) Parker Sonnet has 0 grip issues - but then the Sonnet is a lot lighter than the Studio (the Sonnet has other issues, though ^^).
I just bought the Lamy Studio in the aquamarine color and I love writing with it. I don’t usually like metal sections at all, but this pen is so comfortable to write with! I hope you love it (I’m still in the middle of the video. Haha)
Manda B the colors of the studios are really appealing! Yeah I’m relieved about the grip section, it was a concern of mine. But I think it’s comfortable!
Yeah it’s such a gorgeous combo! I’ve had Lamy before and while I’ve always recognized the quality of the make and writing, they’ve never quite stuck with me. Maybe this one will, only time will tell!
@@adventuredenali I had a Safari and the grip bothered me so much, I got rid of it. I need to find someone near me who also likes fountain pens so I can try out different brands before buying them
Terri Amann thank you! It’s so nice to have a reference like that. It’s worked really well for me. And yes, that’s my beautiful Mr. Darcy Buttered Rum.
Franny Rogers I can do that! I think part of the problem is my favorites often shift and change. Although there are some in my collection I always go back to. I could talk about those. :D
I have several Lamy Studio pens, and am very happy with them. No problems with the metal section. Have you tried any Robert Oster inks? LOTS of choices. Nice inks.
Deborah R I’m relieved the section is comfortable! I was worried about that. I do enjoy Robert oster! The variety of ink colors they produce is incredibly amazing, and they handle so well. I have three from the presently, just had a pen inked with smokescreen as a matter of fact! :D
Nice inks and beautiful hand writing...just bought Montblanc Irish Green...love it. Will try the yellow golden you showed. Any suggestion for any REDish ink? Thanks and subscribed! Cheers!
kapoorh hello and thank you! I have three favorites, two of which are very red and the other ‘reddish.’ Diamine Oxblood (very rich, pigmented, a bit dry, sheening), Diamine Wild Strawberry (super wet, vibrant, juicy, looks edible, some shading), and Diamine Ancient Copper (reddish, some sheening, not as dry or wet as the others mentioned).
No, no, no. Please don’t do asmr. Your videos are very entertaining and enjoyable. I can only speak for me, but asmr videos are just flat out, strange.
Heh hi! New subscriber. I just loved watching you geek out on inks. I do the same thing. Diff is you are sharing with us, like we are all pals. It's wonderful that there is such a great community of fountain pen and ink lovers, so keep it up. I also admire your journals and how you use them. I just set up my TNs yesterday for the new year, switched it up, changed the elastic bling things and one of my new adds is a dedicated TN for Pen and Ink lineups. I never used the cotton swab as you've done though, and I think I would really enjoy this practice. You seem to love that time spent and I loved my time yesterday too. I am guessing you also are a book lover? I wonder if you would share books you enjoy and why? I think a lot of fountain pen users also love reading books, and perhaps not all of them are kindle users, hee hee. I love books, journals, fountain pens and ink, planning and writing as hobbies. I think a lot of us are like this. Another question, how often do you switch your pen inks? As I was collecting my pens and inks, it all happened over a short year span, I started by getting one pen for one ink, but I soon found that if I kept doing that, I would be broke, so although my love of ink colors is the same, I've kind of stopped where I am, with about 35 inks. I reduced by fp collection to about 12, and half of those I never even use, however they are all inked. So what do you do with the pens you don't carry every day? Do you clean them and store them and bring them out occasionally? I find, as others have, that ink left in pens, unused dries out and is quite a bother to clean and a fresh clean nib is the sweetest experience. Well, enough about me. Thanks for the fun. Big fan. c
@@humanfirst11 So, currently I have / love the LAMY 2000, Pilot Vanishing Point, Kaweco Brass and Aluminum Sport, Platinum 3776, TWISBI Precision, Peneider AVATAR and a few LAMY Safaris.I also just added the Travellers Company Brass FP. For all of these I've found one ink that works well and I just leave them that way. I no longer switch inks too much, too messy. My ink collection will last a lifetime, but I purchased it all in a short period of time. Basically the rainbow, and I've decided except for painting with ink, that shimmer and sheen inks aren't good with my pens.
The TWISBI Precision was a fluke I’ve never regretted. Unlike the plastics feel of the ECOs the metal of the Precision has heft and is well balanced. The grip is nice and the fill mechanism is easy. The nib is amazing, long and tapered and just juicy enough. The cap screws on nicely, doesn’t dry out, and when capped the pen is very comfortable. It’s more substantial than ECOS which to me are more about colours and ink volume than the actual pen. I have switched colours in this pen quite a few times and currently have it inked with Lamy Turmaline. This was a price point purchase and a very pleasant surprise! It’s always inked in my collection for the last 3 years.
I'm new to fountain pens, there are so many that you feel overwhelmed at first because you don't know which one to choose. I went with Lamy Al - Star (EF), coupled with Diamine Ancient Copper Ink and has been great so far. This videos made me want to try something new and improve my handwriting, Keep it up. Which notebook are you using by the way?, those inks look great on it.
Hi I’m kinda new but I absolutely love your videos so far! Your positivity is just contagious! 😁 I know most people hate being asked what supplies they use but that green notebook looks gorgeous! I’m sorry if you already have stated what notebook it is, but I would very much like to know. Stay safe and healthy! I hope you feel better!
Hello, A-D, that was a charming presentation - I do like your new selection of inks (& generally, I am not a fan of Noodler's materials). Those three vintage scribes of yours - did I spy a Parker Duofold, 'Big Red', there ? Finally, a wholly unrelated enquiry: The ring on your left pinkie finger is rather incredible - antique emporium, perhaps ? It's rather unique. Thank you for the video, Andrew :)
hi denali, i need help with something. A friend of mine gave me a vintage pen as a gift. But it did not came with a converter and i cant put ink in it cause it leaks. I only own lamys so idk what converter or cartrige i should put on my pen, its a very beautiful heavy pen that was bought in a berlin vintage flee market >.< i really wanna se it but idk how to ink it since its vintage
anitabiba6 hello there! Do you know what kind of pen it is or when it was made? If it’s a vintage there’s a good chance it’s a piston filler or requires a rubber sack. Is there a lever or a button to fill it?
@@adventuredenali I tried to research but could no find any info. There is no piston or lever, so I thought it was one of those u just fill with ink with a siringe, I tested with water but it leaked. I will post a pisture of it on my instagram baronesa_marina i even went to forums and couldnt find anything, next step ill go to a specialized store and ask, although its very far from home >.
anitabiba6 hmmm I wonder! It could indeed be an eye dropper fill. Might need some silicon grease around the threads to help prevent leaking, or maybe there’s a rubber gasket that’s gone missing or has dried out. I wish I could help! It’s hard to know without seeing it myself, and even then, it could very well elude me.
Loving your ink samples. Can I ask what journal you are using? Paper is so important and I'm just getting started with fountain pens and inks so I'd love to start a sample journal.
Becca Carrillo thank you! Glad you enjoyed seeing them. The notebook is a tomoe River paper notebook purchased through Goulet pens. It’s one of the best fountain pen friendly paper and shows off the inks wonderfully.
Do you have a rough type textured can rather than the smooth you know what I mean but textured it's not smooth to the touch most pins are all smooth you know what I'm talking about maybe some pens could stand some textures that are more rough? Just for some difference?
I’m watching you write with this pen and it looks so juicy especially for an EF nib. I have a Lamy safari - a charcoal and the usa limited edition with a medium nib. I have been rather disappointed with my charcoal one. I just feel it has been kind of fussy. Sometimes doesn’t start right up after lying around not used for awhile or just doesn’t seem a great writer. I don’t know maybe on the dry side. I did flush it. I find that if I dip it in a little water, add a few drops of water over the nib, or twist the converter a little it writes better. My usa seems wetter. Maybe .this is not uncommon for safari or maybe I just got a fussy one. Your studio seems like a better writer. What is your opinion of the Lamy line. Do you like one type of Lamy line over another. I know it’s only a 30.00 pen but honestly I like my Twisbi better. I wanted a safari because I felt I would take it out with me and I liked it’s look. Curious how you feel about Lamy and if I am being too hard in my criticism.
What journals and cover are you using in this video? The Lamy Studio inked with Sequoia Green is a daily carry for me! P.S.: I absolutely love your voice and presentation!
Although I love fountain pens and inks, I can't see the point in smearing them in a notebook. Do you do this to see how they look on paper rather than in their bottles?
Darryl Foster yeah the smear is just to provide a different look at the ink. Sometimes colors come out that can’t be seen. In addition, it suggests the flow and wetness of the ink and feed. Some pens are super juicy and lay down a tremendous amount of ink, you can see this by how much ink is smeared. Drier feeds and inks hardly smear at all. :)
So glad I came across your channel! Having a good old binge on your episodes! Came for the pens, staying for the ukelele (and the pens!) ... Clicked the Subscribe so hard I fear I might have broken it! LOL

I haven't heard the Howard Stern bit, but you have a presence that's captivating for various reasons, and it's easy to imagine how he might be smitten or enraptured or plain old ga-ga over you. :D Cheers!
Peggy Williams haha! They have very different vibes that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to having a pen to toss around and not worry so much about. The vintage babes require a lot of care - which I do enjoy doing! But sometimes I don’t want to worry about it.
@@adventuredenali I still keep mine in pen roll or pen sleeve. Our taste is sooo much the same. Have you seen the new olive color leather pen roll at Tokyo pen shop? I think I HAVE to have it.

Thanks for showing!
I really like the ink swatch book. Great idea.
Perfect match with ink and pen, thanks for making this video , I like the company you purchased it from....
Brett Thorndike thank you! I like the company as well.
How did you show up on my recommendations only now? HIIIIII~~~~~~~~
Spork Vlogs hahah! Well hello there and welcome! :D
Same here, I have been watching fountain pen and ink/journal/paper videos for over a year and just now saw this channel. Great stuff, love how intimate these feel, very natural and unrehearsed. Perfect for my tastes, and now I have some more inks on my wish list. ;-)
Apache sunrise, lamy accent 😂 a little trouble with names
I enjoyed the video and the journal and inks a lot. Nice channel, just subscribed 😁 hope you are ok and healthy
Your handwriting is a joy to watch
That nib on the paper , music to my ears
Sequoia is the first and only ink I fell in love with at first write.
Also, if you like Sequoyah Green, Herbin Vert Empire is good too!
ooh Goulet pens package really nicely! That greeeeeen!
Get well soon and TC .. enjoyed your videos
Shades of Rainbow thank you!
11:36 - that sounded so pretty; I hope you enjoy singing!
Ooh thank you! I do on occasion.
Adventuredenali. Thank you. I often wondered at the point of it, but now it makes sense. Also, I regard your writing style and pace quite beautiful!
Very satisfying video! 👍🏻
Very nice colors! 👍🏻
I've always liked extremely dark (saturated) greens, blues and teals. Noodler's have several of those (like the Sequoia Green), but I've also read many negative comments about extremely dark colors from this manufacturer as they tend to dry and stuck inside the pens (feeder) with very hard to almost impossible to clean out.
Have you experienced any of this? 🤔
I love my Lamy pen , I draw with it a lot . Great video , thankyou 😊
Jen’s Wild about art you’re welcome and thank you as well!
Some inks dry quicker than others. Inks can be found with a wide variety of properties to best cater to your writing needs.
I love your videos! Hugs from Sweden 💙
eden petersson hello and thank you!!
Noodlers Sequoia Green Ink was love at first write for me as well, the color is really virsitile. Dito with 54 Mass, but a beautiful ink, don't give up with it. Black Swan in English is more to my liking. It's like you're looking in my ink box.
I loved the video and you are amazing!
You just showed up-what happened? I to have a passion for fountain pens and typewriters as well. I would love to know if the ink are water soluble. I use both. Perhaps you would touch water to a corner after drying to show how water soluble the ink might be. Thanks.
Hello! :D
I can remember which inks I have shown in this video, although I suspect none of them are waterproof.
@@haraldschuster3067
Are you thinking of emery clothe?
@@x-changex-outx-oner8224 - Looked it up via Wikipedia - yes, that's what I was thinking of.
Ok that pen and ink combo is killer ! I love it, I'm not a big Lamy fan but I don't know, now I'm thinking I may give them another chance
I need to find someone near me who also likes fountain pens so I can try out different brands before buying them
Your ink swatch book is an excellent idea! Is that a Chic Sparrow I see?
Terri Amann thank you! It’s so nice to have a reference like that. It’s worked really well for me. And yes, that’s my beautiful Mr. Darcy Buttered Rum.
Great vid. Thanks
Do you have a video on your favorite vintage fountain pens, and where you get them? Love this pen!
Franny Rogers I can do that! I think part of the problem is my favorites often shift and change. Although there are some in my collection I always go back to. I could talk about those. :D
@@adventuredenali I forgot to mention, I would love to see how you ink up one that has a lever mechanism on the side of the pen. Thanks for replying!
Okay! I can do that!
I believe it’s a Noodlers’ brand - a #41 brown that is one of my favorites. You have some excellent samples there.
CoffeeBookChick yeah, I’m excited to test them out in a pen. I’ll have to check out the #41 brown!
You have very nice penmanship. You should do asmr of you just writing haha
Jing Chen haha thank you! That would be fun, the sound of pen to paper is so satisfying.
No, no, no. Please don’t do asmr. Your videos are very entertaining and enjoyable. I can only speak for me, but asmr videos are just flat out, strange.
I really Envy her + energy..👍🏽👍🏿👍🏻
Big fan. c
Which FP pens do you like to use out of your collection?
She writes a lot BTW.
@@csikomas8910 so you like heavy metal pens, and so do I! How do you find the twsbi precision fountain pen? Is it better / worse than the Eco / 580s?
@@csikomas8910 then probably you would also like the Faber Castell emotion in all black! Anyway, thanks for your reply.
Which notebook are you using by the way?, those inks look great on it.
just discoverd your channel and now i am curious what kind of notebook do you use for your ink swabs ?
Somehow your room looks vintage...is that intended! 😊
Awesome review! Those have been very popular at the Lamy store!
Olive Boy thank you! I’ve been running with it daily since it arrived, I think it’s been a really enjoyable pen to write with.
У вас большая коллекция чернил. Где вы их храните? И как правильно хранить, чтобы они не испортились?
I bought the 14K version in rhodium because it has a matte section. The gold nib doesn’t hurt either! 🙂
Orochi Yagami oh! How are you liking it?
AdventureDenali I just got it and am stuck at the part where I’m deciding which ink to christen it with. I’ll let you know! 🙂
I hope you feel better!
its nice to see lamy still gets love. in particular in the states where they're way overpriced. i still have my safari since elementary.
Den yeah lots of Lamy love here in the states I would say. Mostly safaris I see and some big lovers of the 2000.
Thank you for the video,
Andrew :)
hi denali, i need help with something.
I’m such a sucker for Noodler’s inks. So unique and very saturated.
I love my Twsbi eco demonstrator pens...do you have any?
Loving your ink samples. Can I ask what journal you are using? Paper is so important and I'm just getting started with fountain pens and inks so I'd love to start a sample journal.
Becca Carrillo thank you! Glad you enjoyed seeing them. The notebook is a tomoe River paper notebook purchased through Goulet pens. It’s one of the best fountain pen friendly paper and shows off the inks wonderfully.
@@adventuredenali I have Tomoe River stationery and it's wonderful for writing letters...so now I'll get a journal. Thanks!
Do you have a rough type textured can rather than the smooth you know what I mean but textured it's not smooth to the touch most pins are all smooth you know what I'm talking about maybe some pens could stand some textures that are more rough? Just for some difference?
Hmm, I guess I’m not quite sure what you mean. Pens that are scratchy or smooth?
I got sick at that exact same time in London. I was sick for about 5 months. it was insane. right before Covid
That color green is as vibrant as you are. 😀
I mean, normally, when you're feeling healthy.
Star Gazer hahah aww thank you :)
Love the ink samples. Thanks for sharing! On an unrelated note, I really like your shirt. Is it linen? Do you remember where you purchased it?
Thank you! It’s actually a dress, linen, from Pyne and Smith. :)
Nice >>>>>> Thank you
Where do I get the leather notebook cover? Great video! 🙂👍
AdventureDenali beautiful freestyle technique too.
So cute!
It would be so great if you post links to the items you use. ❤️
So glad I came across your channel! Having a good old binge on your episodes! Came for the pens, staying for the ukelele (and the pens!) ... Clicked the Subscribe so hard I fear I might have broken it! LOL

What a nice pen!
Panta Ksianno I think so too!
