Yeah. It’s been crazy. The humidity and fog alone made things hard enough. In my area, the developers that built the subdivisions left hard clay behind without topsoil or sand or anything and the clay just holds the water and doesn’t drain, so this been fun lol.
@@jeremynguyen2346 👋 if your in the Oakland County area of Michigan and are a landscaper how's your lawns looking? Shit we might be cutting here in less than a week. Between Natural Way fertilizer/the warmer temps and sporadic rain we're gonna be chopping here real soon.
Good stuff Brian! Was just listening to the making 1k in a day podcast and your idea for the door to door aeration selling would be sick. 100% would totally watch! Have a good weekend!!!
Originally from Kalamazoo, now in East TN close to Smokies. It rains here alot in Spring, summers get hot and dry, falls are nice but been raining here alot too. We still get out with our Scag velocity plus. Best to you and your family Brian.
So much rain, a blessing in disguise! Everything looks really lush there and the mowers are being put to the test. Keep up the great work, Brian and Rob! And Brian, hope to meet you at GIE.
I always run G5 Gator blades all season long keeps your deck clean and also I am from southeastern Michigan not to far off where you are from this whole season has been nothing but tall grass all the time we did not get the dry month at all but the mulching blades work good in thicker grass and do not Is bogged down the machine with wet tall grass
I’m sure you know or someone has mentioned, but quickchute blocker makes one for the stand on mowers where you pull the lever front/back to open/close rather than left/right for the ztrn.
It’s like third spring all around the Great Lakes! Here in good ol’ Western New York we are dealing with the same nonsense! Heavy dew in the am, dries out in the afternoon, rain overnight😐! Suppose to dry out this up coming week and mid to high70s. The weather has been bananas for the last two months.
Random question, I know this is an old video, I noticed that you didn’t have a cone. Do your guys have a cone know? I use cones all the time so that people can see me.
I’m here in Michigan too. Got everything packed up to go out this morning, it was a little wet from last night but not bad. Right when I got into the truck to leave it started to pour 🤦🏻♂️😂
I'm a half day behind.. which honestly at this point isn't bad. Just wish customers would stop watering at this point. Also, Natural Way can go fudge themselves. Just my opinion.
How is the sound quality of the Isotunes compared to other TWS buds? I have trouble finding buds that fit deep enough and these look like they would fit great.
Yo what's up my mow bro. Hasn't rained in three weeks here in Central Florida. Nice weather mid 80's in the day 60's at night. Now it's 96 with 70% humidity and 80 at night.
Down poured like crazy in the morning, great time to do maintenance on the mowers and keeps the crews busy. When the sky's cleared it was time to hit the lawns. Don't want to get behind. Looks like it will be higher the average Temps so probably won't be doing clean ups for a while.
Great video Brain, it has been wet here two the last two days we got 3 inches of rain we will be cutting the grass on top of picking up leaves! Can we charge to do both lol
Whats in Nashville for Rob? Any thoughts on using airless tires on stand on...noticed in this video the stock tires on the stand up.... thanks for the content as always. Curious your fave trimmer?
I typed that comment before finishing watching the video. Lol. And i had forgotten that you had mentioned earlier in the video that you had more properties to do. As always love your content my friend. This channel has taught me a lot. Which has helped me a ton in my first year of business! But its a lot different here in Florida i have learned!
Brian, even with all the rain you’ve been getting, y’all don’t leave any ruts. Here in Georgia, we got a decent amount of rain,& the guys who mow leave some major ruts. Maybe it’s they’re mower, or the uneven side of the property. Should we cut these guys loose, or is this a common occurrence with Bermuda grass?🤔😔
Personally I think it's the grass type and the fact that it's an uneven side of the property. But if they knew that, they'd weed eat that area to avoid leaving major ruts.
Just had a guy call while I was watching this video. He said hello sir I was wondering if u could sign my unemployment fourm saying I applied to work for your company.
Yah 2 of my accounts are in sand and I can't mow them 2 of my accounts are underwater can't mow water don't habe float wheels on the zero turn not an option Yet. Keep crashing it
@@Bdigital9482 your deck must not be adjusted correctly. Did you hit something with it, or forget to scrape deck doing maintenance? It won’t clump even while mowing in the rain.
Is it just me, or does it feel like a THIRD spring with the insane rain here in Michigan? It’s been brutal 🤕🤕
I agree. Especially after the sporadic flooding in places here in Oakland County today. My easy Friday turned into me having to work a Saturday now :/
Yeah. It’s been crazy. The humidity and fog alone made things hard enough. In my area, the developers that built the subdivisions left hard clay behind without topsoil or sand or anything and the clay just holds the water and doesn’t drain, so this been fun lol.
Yes, my grass is growing like crazy. I really need to be mowing twice per week, in October!

We’re getting a lot of rain this week in TN too. I feel your pain. Thanks for another video guys.

Lol the business here in cali is like a second summer 😅 🤣
Why do you not mulch? Close the discharge and mulch the grass.
I’m sure you know or someone has mentioned, but quickchute blocker makes one for the stand on mowers where you pull the lever front/back to open/close rather than left/right for the ztrn.
I run them they are awesome!
love u bro
We are starting to go into a cold drought here in Texas with warm season grass. Seems like the growing season is coming to an end early here
Same here in SC. Things are slowing down way early. Of course “cold” for you and I means highs in the 70’s 😂
@@TheMoparGarage absolutely we mostly have Bermuda here and we are low 70’s during the day and low 50’s at night so we aren’t getting any growth
I feel you on this one ! I been double cutting all week in upstate NY on my weekly lawns I cut a few that were over 24 inches with the z3x

What's your rule on yards with trampoline? Just mow around it? We shouldn't move them right?
We do not move them, just mow around them yessir.

Just wondering, when do you guys start mowing after winter?
Once the weather breaks, typically mid April
Can we get some of this rain down here in Texas? Grass has been crunchy for a month and a half, costing us some serious money….
Hey Brian what are the airless tires you use on the exmark I forget what they’re called
Tractus!

It would be nice to see the Tractus tires on the stand on!
On my side of the world Kansas City is so dry there’s no grass to cut !!
When are you going to try out the echo 9010 blower
We own an 8010, it’s an ok blower but I’m a bigger fan of the Redmax 8550’s
