tricot are a Japanese Math Rock quartet who write bubbly tunes with a restless energy propelled in forward motion. They pair ping-ponging riffs with round style vocals in a quirky, experimental framework to make for technically satisfying music you can move your feet to.

Since I first heard them, Hiromi has become one of my favorite bass players. She's so tiny and playing that huge bass, it's like seeing a little girl taking her pet dragon for a walk.

Got to see them live, they were insanely tight. All the crazy temp changes they do here-even further from the album version-were part of the set. They messed around with a lot of their songs. It was so good.

The words itself was a made up words that came after they repeatedly pronounce "orange juice" in Japanese pronunciation, and Ikkyu considered it as an alternative pronunciation.
But the song's meaning itself are supposedly... well, gibberish (the official MV itself sum up the meaning).

I think they would be better if they got rid of vocals and focused on instrumental music. Not that shes a horrid singer or anything, they just have a great style between the guitars and drums that I think they should go more into depth with.

Completely disagree. There are 100s of instrumental math rock bands. Go listen to them. Tricot has something unique going for them. Plus, unless you speak Japanese, these "lyrics" are basically instrumentals to you.
