Priest doesn’t have a reason to cast spells except for one of the best legendaries in the game that generates spells when you cast spells....... like wtf is kripp smoking today. Priest plays shitloads of spells
Legend says that playing Spirit of the tiger and Eye for an eye will summon a special card called "Eye of a tiger", accompanied by a fitting music theme.
The corrupted blood in a Togwaggle druid or really any druid deck would kinda be insane cause if you can hold your naturalizes till the end after this guy dies then you can easily accelerate your opponent's death counter by drawing and shuffling even more bloods into your opponent's deck plus adding in an Augmented elekk with this card seems quite strong
Every time a new set comes out I think it’s really cool and I get kinda excited. Then I realize I’ll never see 90% of these cards and I just go back to hearthstoning through kripp
Control pally is def going to be a thing this expansion. Stealth minion with insane Spikeridged Steed synergy, better hooked reavers, playable instant Ice Block, and threatening lethal every turn with DK hero power and double blackwald pixie (summon one first turn, if not removed summon the other 3).
What im confused about is if there are 2 copies wont this happen??: - draw the first copy and take 3 damage - draw the second copy, shuffle 2 into deck then take 3 damage - draw a newly shuffled copy and take 3 damage until you dieeee
It was explicitly stated in the interview that was part of the Forbes reveal for the card that it works exactly as Kripp explained. No additional copies of Corrupted Blood will be shuffled into your deck until you are done drawing cards. So in your case it's: - draw the first copy, take 3 damage - draw the second copy, take 3 damage - draw a normal card (in this case you fatigue for 1) - shuffle four Corrupted Bloods into your deck As Kripp explained - you don't die instantly, you just fatigue _considerably_ faster.
I feel like there will be a troll deck with that neutral legendary, prob a quest priest deck. It’ll be a meme people attempt just like mechathun priest
@@GHhost-m4j Haha, yes I was actually playing OTK Paladin which was pretty effective with the healing, clears and taunts, it was more the fact that my opponents were just hitting nothing but face that felt dull. I mean it's not 100% bad and to be expected at the end of an expansion/month.
Hakkar is great fun if you build the deck right. Could see a deck using it and Hemet which is quite obvious but I prefer a paladin deck using Prince liam. You can stall, maybe even draw a few bloods during the game then when the time is right, you turn the bloods into Legendary minion.
I think raiding party is one of the best cards printed in a long time. 3 Mana draw 2-3 cards is insane but what's worse is that you'd play it due to it being good, but you'd also likely run prep in an aggro/kingsbane pirate deck. Prep helps with evis and maybe a weapon buff but more importantly, turns 3 Mana draw 2-3 into 0 Mana draw 2. If you have a deadish hand and wanna play the raiding party draws, your prep acts as the combo initiater and let's you spend 0 Mana to get 3 new cards. Yes it costs 2 but we see mage run sorcerer's apprentice and use 2 Mana draw 2 and that's already good. I think it will be disgusting and likely form a powerful draw engine for a hybrid mid-range/aggro rogue. I'd have to take a look at all the pirates, but they work well with weapons and kingsbane being efficient and consistent in an aggro deck is a terrifying thought.
The Rogue Shark Loa is such a waste of a great idea. If you changed it to eat a card from your opponent's hand or deck, it would be SO much better and enable combo-breaking in a class other than warlock (basically, it could be a legendary dirty rat that uses the void terror and convert effects on whatever it eats).
You can raiding party mech c'thun, either just mill your own pirates lategame or survive your early game with pirates, three Mana three draws could be metadefining
Kripp, i think that the card generated by hakkar, corrupted blood, says after you draw. So in the case you mention when you are in fatigue, draw corrupted and there are no more cards to draw and the "after draw" effect doesn't trigger. That's how i see it, i might be wrong.
Alexander Solodovnikov what about silence? Plus another minion you have to play and minstrel. I try and get OTK before turn 10-11 with maly rogue so I think it might be too slow and vulnerable to tutor malygos
You don't just play it. First, you set up a Necrium blade and then play it to run a deathrattle immediately or just play it with necrium on turn 10. Anyway, given how few minions this deck has it's a pretty good chance you'll get something you need for a combo in your hand and put some body on a table in process.
12:20 Wouldn't at this point you be endlessly drawing Corrupted Bloods? After drawing the first one but before drawing the second one, you'll already have two extra in your deck, so after drawing the second one, you'll immediately draw another one that you got from the first one, and so on until you die. EDIT: On another hand, it depends on what happens first after drawing the second Corrupted Blood, the shuffle, or the draw.
I thought it was pretty clear when Kripp said he is sure how it works after seeing it and talking to people and then explaining that it does NOT kill you the moment you have only 2+ corrupted blood in your deck. This instant kill also wouldn't fit the theme imo. If blizzard wanted a card that killed you almost in the moment you hit fatigue, they'd make something different and clearer.
Wait. The turn that you've got 2 corrupted blood in your deck should kill you. I mean: 3 dmg => shuffle 2 => draw next one => 3 dmg => draw one more, that got shuffled after the 1st trigger. Correct me, if i'm getting it wrong, bc hs sometimes inconsistent
Hakkar is probably the coolest card of the new ones. Just like Mechacthun, it is difficult to make it work well, but very much possible. If you run this in a control Paladin, you could combo it with Liam to get your deck cleaned of the drawback. Seeing how Paladin cards look right now I can imagine the rest being also Heal/control and this card a Win condition option PS or you play a Academic espionage deck and have this card to make your opponent bleed out
Dragonwarrior looks fun. Always loved dragon themed decks, with my dragon priest I had the best time I ever had in ranked. Whatever, it's still gonna be like always. I play constructed for 1-2 weeks and then I get bored by the meta and start playing only arena
Wait for Hakkar, if you have 2 corrupted bloods in your deck, would you draw the first one, cast it, draw the second one, then you would activate the effect of the first one so you would add 2 more, then draw from the second one, then draw the reshuffled first one, then...?
Hakkar does wonders to any deck which has plenty of draw if people play certain type of decks it is auto include to every other deck. Untamed beast master, great card when you can get lots of draw. Gral is okay card. You can play with deathrattle synergies and get the extra cards if the minion eaten is worth it. As for trying to make a deck that works with it, just have atleast 2 mana worth of stats in every other minion and it's not terrible. Make a deck with every other minion has at leas 3 manaworth of stats its also good. You can optionally combo it with necrium blade or necrium vial it is great, like, if you draw a strong late game minion add copy of it to your hand by triggering the deathrattle effect, if the minions isn't worth it then you can choose to not spend the trigger for it. It is just good in a deck that has too many things that opponent would like to silence.
12:10 wouldn't the "2nd" turn auto be lethal because the first Corrupted Blood would shuffle two copies behind the second copy? so your third draw wouldn't be normal fatigue, but it would be another Corrupted Blood.
No. The shuffling happens only after you're completely done drawing. Have some faith in Kripp when he says he's seen the card in action and talked to people about it.
MrAlienform13 But that would also save your oponnent too. tho Hemet seems much better but you can't just add hemet in all decks. there are some decks which are made to counter corrupted bloodm
Raiding party in odd rogue 3 mana draw 2 minions and possibly a weapon if you include one for synergy is pretty good, its arcane intellect. In kingsbane its great because you get your kings bane and cards to buff it.
Not sure about Gral, does he work like the Cube? So if you're able to trigger the Deathrattle by using another card-effect you add the minion to your hand and if he dies after that you add the same minion again to your hand? Or do you just get the minion once and if you trigger the Deathrattle several times it will be useless since his stomach is empty already?
That tiger is pretty crazy in paladin ... it can be infinite Atiesh. This might just be that little juice which can make control paladin great again. The quest + Lynessa + This + Loa + Tarim + call to arms/ doomsayer/divine shield taunt/pyromancer ... maybe ... maybe
Realistically, a Pally running the Totem and a Dinosize is already worth it. Getting a 10/10 minion and an 8/8 as well for 12 mana across 2 turns is totally worth it.
Actually Kripp with Hakkar you die the second turn of fatigue because if you already have 2 bloods the first one will deal 3 then it will copy itself and then you draw the second one. Then it goes infinite
6:00 I dont think quest hunter can afford to run that card, its a “win-more” card, and quest really does not need that, I think. Unless there are good enablers (maybe the spirit) then it wont see play in a possible hunter quest deck
Paul Mayaux quest Hunter suffers the same problem as quest warlock: infinite 3/2s aren't actually that great unless you're way ahead on board. Buffing the 3/2s up to 5/4 might be worth it if you can draw a lot.
No, if you only have 2+ "Corrupted Blood" in your deck you won't lose immediately. I'll try to explain this as clearly as possible. In terms of what the card actually does and is ordered, it's:AS SOON AS YOU DRAW: [take 3 damage, draw a card, then shuffle in 2 copies.] But when you draw the second copy, it activates IMMEDIATELY, so it interrupts the first Corrupted Blood and has to resolve first, resulting in [take 3 damage, draw (Corrupted Blood): [take 3 damage, draw a card, then shuffle in 2 copies.], then shuffle in 2 copies]. If the card drawn by Corrupted Blood was a Scroll of Wonder, you wouldn't expect to draw the scroll, have the Corrupted Bloods shuffled in, and only then have the Scroll activate, would you? No, the Scroll avtivates and finishes first, INCLUDING drawing the replacement card, since that draw is an effect of the Scroll. If you use carddraw to draw multiple cards and one of them is a Scroll of Wonders or a Nerubian, or a bomb, you won't finish drawing all the cards and only then have the Scroll cast, the Nerubian spawn etc.. They will interrupt the drawing, resolve, draw the replacement card, and only then your initial carddraw continues. As proof we have Wondrous Wand: Draw 3 cards, they cost (0). If Wondrous Wand draws a Scroll as the 2nd card, the Scroll will activate the moment it's drawn, draws a new card, and only then does the Wondrous Wand continue. Since the new 2nd card was NOT drawn by the Wand, but by the scroll, it doesn't have it's cost reduced.
hakkar is a nerf to spitefull summoner, if you get it with the first summoner, first it has bad stats, second it also has a chance for the next summoner to summon a 1 cost minion....
Raiding party says "Add a weapon" not "draw a weapon from your deck" like it says on Cavern Shinyfinder so it would appear your just getting a random weapon not tutoring for one
Hmmm... corrupted blood seems to be one of the hardest written cards to parse. I absolutely see why Kripp’s fatigue description is accurate though. You would think the effect of “after you draw, shuffle two corrupted blood into your deck” would trigger when you draw the second blood which would make you infinitely take more damage. But it stands to reason that the draw has to complete FIRST before the blood is added. So when you draw the second blood off of the effect of the first, the second effect triggers the cast when drawn, then you draw your fatigue card, and then your real draw concludes and the bloods get shuffled. Quite the interestingly complex card for its wording. I approve.

I think that Gral the Shark could see play due to rogue's efficient and often free deathrattle triggers that can be set up in advance (I. E. Necrium Vial + prep/ Necrium blade) with a pirate engine to draw the blades efficiently
It sounds like Even Warrior might actually be a thing. You got War Master Voone, primordial dragon, deathwing, bone drake, and twighlight drake. Plus you got armor Smith, warpath, firetree doctor(for brawl/reckless flurry), bladed gauntlet, cornered sentry+drywhisker armorer, bring it on, slam, weapons project, execute, blood razor, garrosh DK, and woeclever potentially.
Myra rotspring getting the mindflayers deathrattle is gonna be crazy in high light reels lmao
Priest doesn’t have a reason to cast spells except for one of the best legendaries in the game that generates spells when you cast spells....... like wtf is kripp smoking today. Priest plays shitloads of spells
3:50 there is lyra , and the weapon which give you dragon every 3 spells so this is good
Legend says that playing Spirit of the tiger and Eye for an eye will summon a special card called "Eye of a tiger", accompanied by a fitting music theme.
Can confirm that Kripp's Hakkar explanation + Corrupted Blood quick vegan maths is 100% correct, 👌
What im confused about is if there are 2 copies wont this happen??:
- draw the first copy and take 3 damage
- draw the second copy, shuffle 2 into deck then take 3 damage
- draw a newly shuffled copy and take 3 damage until you dieeee
It was explicitly stated in the interview that was part of the Forbes reveal for the card that it works exactly as Kripp explained. No additional copies of Corrupted Blood will be shuffled into your deck until you are done drawing cards. So in your case it's:
- draw the first copy, take 3 damage
- draw the second copy, take 3 damage
- draw a normal card (in this case you fatigue for 1)
- shuffle four Corrupted Bloods into your deck
As Kripp explained - you don't die instantly, you just fatigue _considerably_ faster.
I feel like there will be a troll deck with that neutral legendary, prob a quest priest deck. It’ll be a meme people attempt just like mechathun priest
or maybe in a togwaggle druid?
Prince Liam control/heal paladin, spread the word.
a TROLL deck! Huehuehuehue
Mill rogue buddy u even got deathrattle triggers ;D
Hey my mechathun druid is no meme.
The corrupted blood effect seems insane, I think Skulking Geist is gonna be a must have in decks to combat it.
Its worth noting with the dragon execute, that it bypasses the can't be targetted by spells effect cause its not a spell
Gral is totally gonna hit the darkness for a 5 mana 22/22 on play.
These cards can't come out soon enough. Played a few of hours of constructed and every game was vs really strong aggro decks from different classes...
odd warrior is your friend
control shaman is crazy strong against aggro decks
@@GHhost-m4j until you start finding shudderwock everywhere
@@andresvelazquez5922 *Shudders*
Nice to see the quick updates Kripp ! :D
For hakkar rouge may work well with all the shuffling they have like a academic espionage
Gral, The Shark could have some genuine synergy in a Necrium Blade deck. Maybe wishful thinking, but some creative deck building could make it shine.

Jungle Hemet cures corrupted blood, Kripp. Let your Hakkar dream live on!
These new cards look really good. I really want to see them all so bad.
Grave Horror in that More Arms deck Firebat was playing last month
How does the "eat" mechanic work with Gral the shark? Does it just draw the top minion of your deck, is it a joust? Is it a choose? Confused.
I can't look at Gral without seeing an OMEGALUL
Step 1: Hakkar the Soulflayer.
Step 2: Get to the fatigue stage.
Step 3: Shadowblade + Coldlight Oracle + Coldlight Oracle
Step 4: Profit
You can raiding party mech c'thun, either just mill your own pirates lategame or survive your early game with pirates, three Mana three draws could be metadefining
Kripp, i think that the card generated by hakkar, corrupted blood, says after you draw. So in the case you mention when you are in fatigue, draw corrupted and there are no more cards to draw and the "after draw" effect doesn't trigger. That's how i see it, i might be wrong.
Yes, you are :)
Taking fatigue damage counts as drawing.
Do you think a rogue giant Deck list with gral would work?
Ervorn Maybe idk. It might be awesome with Kel'thuzad in wild. 5 mana 8/10 kel'thuzad turn 5. Or even rag idk
Imagine haxxar + naturalize or whatever removal spell + hemmet + coldlight oracles, Nat Darkfisher or any card that can draw cards for your opponent
Imagine Gral the Shark in a modern Maligos dethrattle rouge. It's a perfect way to fish your dragon out a deck or even get a few copies of it.
14:38 Zandalari Templar: " Not quite meta defining, but perhaps even meta defining"
12:20
Wouldn't at this point you be endlessly drawing Corrupted Bloods?
8:15 someone edit this along with the "My opponent is playing cards!" plz
Hakkar is probably the coolest card of the new ones. Just like Mechacthun, it is difficult to make it work well, but very much possible. If you run this in a control Paladin, you could combo it with Liam to get your deck cleaned of the drawback. Seeing how Paladin cards look right now I can imagine the rest being also Heal/control and this card a Win condition option
PS or you play a Academic espionage deck and have this card to make your opponent bleed out
Corrupted blood - you can put it pretty early and use that minion, who destroy all low cost cards in your deck.
Thank you so much for the amazing video! All of you friends are super awesome!
"This card is WICKED AWESOME! This card is going to be... one star"
hey guys how's it going preparing in here
Dragonwarrior looks fun. Always loved dragon themed decks, with my dragon priest I had the best time I ever had in ranked.
Whatever, it's still gonna be like always. I play constructed for 1-2 weeks and then I get bored by the meta and start playing only arena
“I don’t like cards. Wether they’re good or not, I don’t like cards” -Kripp, 2018
Wait for Hakkar, if you have 2 corrupted bloods in your deck, would you draw the first one, cast it, draw the second one, then you would activate the effect of the first one so you would add 2 more, then draw from the second one, then draw the reshuffled first one, then...?
No it doesn't shuffle till after
Hakkar does wonders to any deck which has plenty of draw if people play certain type of decks it is auto include to every other deck.
Spirit of the Tiger + Next turn dinosize on it! I'm hopeful I can make a prismatic lens deck with these cards xD
even if Hakkar, the Soulflayer turns out to be good, it is countered by Skulking Geist, also, it has some interaction with Hemet jungle hunter
Pretty sure you can get multiple copies. "Eat" is more flavour than a mechanic defining word.
That tiger is pretty crazy in paladin ... it can be infinite Atiesh. This might just be that little juice which can make control paladin great again. The quest + Lynessa + This + Loa + Tarim + call to arms/ doomsayer/divine shield taunt/pyromancer ... maybe ... maybe
And for the lulz add Hakkar and Liam.
Would holding 10 cards in hand negate the corrupted blood card?
12:45 but wont you copy the bloods while drawing when you have 3 or more?
In terms of what the card actually does and is ordered, it's:AS SOON AS YOU DRAW: [take 3 damage, draw a card, then shuffle in 2 copies.]
But when you draw the second copy, it activates IMMEDIATELY, so it interrupts the first Corrupted Blood and has to resolve first, resulting in
[take 3 damage, draw (Corrupted Blood): [take 3 damage, draw a card, then shuffle in 2 copies.], then shuffle in 2 copies].
Hakkar is going to be fun to play, might try to fit it into control lock so the late game is a guarantee win
7:41 and skip 10 seconds at 7:45
War Master Voone + The Boomship sounds like a good combo to me if you've some big ass dragons
wouldn't corrupted blood go infinite after you hit 2 in an empty deck? or do they wait for you to finish all your draws before casting?
soulflayer in an revive/big priest or with cloning gallery?
hakkar is a nerf to spitefull summoner, if you get it with the first summoner, first it has bad stats, second it also has a chance for the next summoner to summon a 1 cost minion....
I approve.
Dex is the true heart of this channel :)
WELCOME BACK FATIGUE WARRIOR! HAIL HAKKAR, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!
8:46 lets clip that and wait for the day that happens
12:30 fatigue damage wont stack when there is a card in your deck. You take 1 every turn.
It does. Happened to me. Every fatigue is 1 more damage than the last, regardless of you getting extra cards in between.
Hakkar mostly seems like a counter to combo decks that want to draw their deck as fast as possible.
