Apologise for the delay. I just made it just as a time-lapse video while I was putting my bike together. Knew there are much better how to guides available on RUclips :D
Hello! Apologies for the delay, you might’ve already got the bike. I got the 20” Frame (Large) & I’m 178 / 5’10. I think a M or L would both be suitable for you. M will probably be more comfortable to ride, but L is better for speed. Test out both if you’re able to!
Hi Leon I have this bike ordered in green (vengeance 2020) and I'm just wondering how are you feeling about this bike now....do you recommend.... Stephen
Hi Stephen. I’m still enjoying the bike. I ride between tarmac and off-road & it’s been holding up well. With a nice seat height adjustment with 40-45 PSI in the tyres, it’s very smooth, quick and easy to ride. Let me know how you’re getting on!
Hey mate, I need to select between these bikes and I'm really confused Apollo gradient, Carrera hustle 1, Carrera hustle 2, Carrera vengeance which one do you think would be better?
Hey dude, apologies for the delay. I'm loving my Vengeance! I would recommend getting on and trying the bike at your local store if you can. Handle bar size and wheel size sometimes make it uncomfortable for others but may be good for you. Everything else is adjustable
Hey! I’ve had it for 5 months now. Taken it through quite a bit, nothing’s broken. Brakes are a bit weaker now, it needs adjusting. Small noise on the crank when pedalling (that’s to be expected). Would recommend this one or the Hellcat for the price 👍🏾 Hellcat’s got hydraulic brakes and 29” tyre
Good job you fast forward after realising you installed the handlebar the wrong way round and would have had to remove install them the right way. Otherwise ok build
nazirthegamer 12345 Hello, medium will probably be more comfortable but it depends on your set up. I’m 5’10, I have my seat at the same level as the handle bar or a little bit more
Because the box has been touched by so many people in a packing room by loads of staff. If you go shopping and someone with covid picks up some milk and puts it back then you come along and pick the same milk up, BOOM you now have it. Hes smart that's why. Use your brain
I have this bike and one day randomly in the woods the back wheel come off. Luckily I was going really slow and was able to stop. Was easy to put back on and tighten been fine since.
@@leong1163 I had 2 of them the 2012 Carrea vengeance in red, silver and white. It lasted to 2017 basically all the parts was showing there age and the cost to replace them adds up two a new Carrea vengeance. So i decided to get another Carrea vengeance. Only because my other one lasted so long and i thought that this one would have a chance in lasting that long as the other one. I rode my 2017 Carrea vengeance for around 5 months and the frame was still in mint condition but the parts on the bike was getting worn down way too quickly. Any how i took it down to me local Halfords they didn't seem to care that it was five months old and still under warranty and in mint condition they told me to come back in an hour an half and i was presented with a large bill of what needed replacing it came to £285. I told them in there that i dont ride the bike often as it was in mint condition they just looked at me and shrugged. So i left the shop and went home and sold that 2017 Carrea for £175 quick sell. Also the new 2020 line features an unbranded crank arms unbranded chain rings. And they removed the plastic dork disc if the bikes rear derailleur is not adjusted properly then the chain will slip in 1st gear causing it to go between cassette and spokes getting caught possibly breaking the spokes or chain. and where do i start on that stupid new seat it looks hideous and the frames they've done for 2020 there not even half as good as the last Carrea frames before it. I get it there trying to make the bikes look higher end but cutting down things and saving money on the components isn't the way to go.
Thanks for explaining it properly. Definitely agree with you there - I'm quite happy with the frame and the tyres and the seat that come with this bike, but everything else feels fairly cheap quality like you mentioned. Haven't had any issues so far but will see with with time! I have only taken it off road on a MTB track a few times, but don't think it will survive long (I know only the frame is guaranteed) Definitely agree that Halfords don't really care - hence why I never go for their service/repair packages. Will give you an update soon. Thank you for checking out the video!
I thought you were being one of those idiots that complain the frames snap even thou since like 2012 they’ve had a good record that they don’t snap, I read the comments and got what you were saying. A lot of the time bikes cost more to build from scratch so it’s common replacement parts will add up to the price of the actual bike if not more in some cases
@@leong1163 yes but not this specific bike, im looking forward to buy the voodoo bantu. I was just asking as in halfords if u say no bike build you will have to build it from scratch and the party being given to you. Thank you though
Great value. Great looks.
Nicely done nicely made bike very interesting video to watch video 👍😀🤛
Glad you enjoyed it :D
Well done. Keep up the good work!
Carrera Vengeance ,looks great in black,
It looks great in the green too!
Why did you speed up the most important part building it?
U can put it on 0.25x speed

Nice to see the build process, thanks! I have a video up on my channel I have the exact same!

Quick question, can you make the seat any lower?
Yes but you have to take off the reflector

Does the bike come with any tools?
It’s not a Smyths bike
In your back garden with a mask on 😂😂😂😂

Why would you speed up the hardest part of the video like that... 😳 Now I'm stuck
How long does it take to make
kaur Ranjeet About 30 mins!
How long did it take to build
Around 30 mins! Put the handle bar the wrong way around first .. 😅
What size is the bike
md2sav 20” Frame (Large)
WHATS MASK ALL ABOUT THINKS HES GUNNA GET COVID FROM BIKE
Skipped over putting on the front tyre and that's what I wanted to see cause of the brakes

I’ve never seen that type of carrera is that a woman’s?
Sorry about the delay. It is Mens! They do have the Women's at Halfords too
Hi I was wondering what size is the frame
Brandon Craven 20” (Large) Frame!
LeoLifts thanks
LeoLifts hi is it large for a man who is 5 7(170cm) in height
nazirthegamer 12345 Hello, medium will probably be more comfortable but it depends on your set up. I’m 5’10, I have my seat at the same level as the handle bar or a little bit more
Oh but I ordered the large one and I was chatting with the Halfords staff online and they said it’s fine so is it ok?
Why are you wearing a mask and gloves in your own garden?
He can if he wants to lol

Were the tyres already pumped?
Rahat Yang Around 25-30 PSI already pumped - I’ve pumped mine to 40. Max - 50
Reviews say the back wheels falls off. I am scared lol.
They’ve not put it together properly
Mine haven't fallen off yet!
I have this bike and one day randomly in the woods the back wheel come off. Luckily I was going really slow and was able to stop. Was easy to put back on and tighten been fine since.
I would rather he speed up unpacking not the second part of building it up
Love the way it goes designed for more you’ll be finding out in 3-9 months when the repair/replacement bike adds up to the cost of the bike lol
Why do you say that? Previous experience? It's been good so far but the quality in some areas is definitely questionable!
