The specs on a Matthews bow are terrible compared to other bow companies. Xpedition comes out with a bow that shoots 358 IBO, with a 6" brace height and weighs 3.9 pounds, an entire pound lighter than Matthews, with 15 fps faster. Hoyt can still make a bow that weighs over a pound lighter and shoots faster. Why does Matthews never seem to make improvements to their stats. Their bows continuously weigh a ton. The only bow that can keep up in speed is the Wake and it weighs 5.5 lbs. Weight makes a ton of difference when you are on long hunts in the back country.
I know speed isn't everything, but at least make a comparable weight on a bow. No one wants to lug a 10lb bow miles around. It's just frustrating to me because I want to like Matthews.
+The Gabbanator I shoot a halon 5 at 29.5 inches 70 pounds with a 422 grain arrow and I get 318 fps. That's around 94 pounds of kinetic energy. That's pretty impressive if you ask me. The deer won't be able to tell the difference either. I see what your saying about the weight, but every other aspect of the bow is great in my opinion. I also feel like a heavier bow is much more stable, but that's just me.
a slightly heavier bow means less accessories to quiet the bow down, and makes it a lot easier to hold on target. I have a wake now and have owned quite a few bows and notice no difference when walking through the woods
Cant wait for the new mathews bow this year!!! The Halon 33!!!
Did you use the two limb connectors for the trophy taker
How is 4.10 heavier than 4.8? Did you mean 4.08?
Is the halon 32 balanced well I hear people saying it’s op heavy when I held one it’s felt balanced to me lol
You're pulling 70lb. How close was it to bottoming out?
Clayton Turner , it was maxed out. 71 lbs to be exact.
Which Black Gold sight did you install?
Travis Scott, 5 pin widowmaker.
What is the longest draw length on this bow?
30.5 inches at 75% let off
Please Let me know If you still have this Bow?
So 30# under ibo while shooting ibo. Damn Mathews
Did you really need an almost 1 minute intro with annoying music?
No. Probably not. I also don't need your view.
Wyatt Sebright OHHHHHHH
Wyatt Sebright I subbed cause of that :)

The Gabbanator Quality over "cool" is my choice. I'll take the Mathews.

Jeffrey Woods I own the wake too! Always glad to see that others are shooting that great bow.
