  • This was a T.V programme made in the early 1960s, showing the town as it was, with people we all may know , some who have passed away. Enjoy looking at the town as it was then.

Oh my God! I remember these scenes where I grew up. An innocent far off time now seemingly lost to us and growing more improbable by the day.

I am downloading a programme to change the format of the dvd, to suit windows, it was an old vhs tape that I converted to dvd, wish I bought the programme first, if this doesn't work I will let you know, the rest of the programme has an interview with Ollie FLannagan, Bishop Butler in knockglass, Michael Hughes in the Dolphin, Deane Freise, and a host of customers in the dolphin having a sing song, a young Dr MIckey and Teirnan Rielly saying they wanted to open a football pitch, so hope you enjoy it when you see it. If you know anyone will you point them out as I know faces but can't name them .

I do have a problem, I am uploading the whole programme to youtube, I have it changed to suitable format, but when I put it on upload it just isn't loading, I left it for 24 hours and nothing happened, it is only a half hour long, so I can't understand why youtube won't load it.

A trick: you can watch series at flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
