Being someone who works at a smoothie place, most of these videos are hard to make judgement from for the fact that they're made very watery or use hard-to-blend ingredients (Kale)
To get thicker smoothies or smoothie bowls, you don't need as much liquid or fresh fruits as you do ice or frozen fruits, and unfortunately most video comparisons haven't properly demonstrated that and I feel left with trying to contemplate the ease-of-use of them instead. This means that blenders not as expensive as Vitamix may very well be just as adequate. But looks like I'll never know..

Vitamix 5200, definitely! I load it up with smoothies nearly daily, make smoothies thick and cold, it just keeps going. First Vitamix was a stainless steel, lasted over 20 years. AND when I finally burned out the motor base? I could have had it repaired by Vitamix!!!!! But I wanted the 5200 instead. At that, they gave me a trade-in deal for the old base.

I agree. To top it off the ring gasket always pop off. I thought it was supposed to until I reached out to their customer service. I've replaced the blade top 4x over 3 years because of this and just decided to throw the thing away last month. The ring gasket popped off for the last time and all of the gunk that was stunk under the ring fell into my smoothie.

you did not line these blenders up correctly. Do a comparative view of each blender. also this list seems old?? What about blend tec? Also why didn't you compare the power of each motor with price. I have no idea how powerful the kitchen Aid is, all i know is that its pricey and robust(bad selling point). i usually don't like to criticize but as a consumer I need better information. You did sound very professional, its just the delivery wasnt good for consumers.

This is my second Magic bullet, and I have to admit that for the price it delivers really well ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq Considering that there are other products twice and even four times more expensive, I think that for one person this is just right. The only problem is that you have to make sure that your vegetables and ice are cut into small pieces because it won't chop and blend well. I made the mistake of putting whole baby carrots with a cup of mixed greens, and it wasn't pretty.. Also be careful not to overfill it, because it will overflow. As long as you follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, you should be happy with this purchase.
