I showed up to my specsavers appointment recently and was told that the optician was “working from home” and would conduct the eye test remotely. I’m assuming this was a LIE and they are simply in a call centre in India. It was very rude of specsavers to not inform me that I would not be receiving a normal eye test when I booked. Eye tests sometimes also spot health problems so it’s important for the optician to actually be present. Anything else is madness.
