I have both. The B&O sounds better at ALL levels and its a clearer sound where the Tribit can get a little muddy. The Tribit is very good though and beats the B&O on battery life and being more rugged has its place. The B&O is kept in a case whereas the tribit gets chucked in a rucksack (and that's the reason for getting the Tribit). For the cost of the B&O you could get two Tribits and pair them which would be interesting to see how the sound compares. If I was going to a hotel I'd lift the B&O but camping or travel the Tribit would be taken.
Same outcome, I have both, plus a second Tribit, and for actual sound the B&O is better. For practicality and the ability to stereo pair the Tribute wins hands down. The battery life of the B&O is poor but it's well built. I did have concerns about the B&O switch but so far no issues. Both are excellent speakers with the B&O being more premium and Tribit more utilitarian however I cannot agree with the reviewers summation about the sound B&O IS better.
The Beoplay has more treble extension because it has a dedicated tweeter. The Stormbox Micro has more bass extention. The Micro is more flat (natural) in the midrange whereas the Beoplay sounds more dipped (v shaped).
That's a really interesting conclusion as through my headphones the P2 sounded so much better on all tracks. It's why you need to hear with your own ears!
True ! The B&O sounds better in the video. I don't know why. The Tribit sounds distorted. In real life it doesn't sound distorted. It sounds more natural. It depends on the room and song too. Sometimes I prefered the Tribit and sometimes I prefered the B&O. The B&O has boosted highs and upper-bass. It sounds boxy. Thats's why I prefer the Tribit.
How to Pair 2 StormBox Speakers Step 1: Turn on both StormBox speakers Step 2: Hold the Bluetooth Button (at least 5 seconds) on speaker A until the tone comes on, then do the same to speaker B. Step 3: Waiting for pairing. After step 2, you will see the blue indicators keep quick flashing, you need to wait for them to pair with each other. When you see Speaker A flashes blue slowly while Speaker B stays blue, that means you successfully pair them.
Hi.. at what distance is the microphone? You have a good quality mic. You can keep it 1m away and record. You'll get less air distortion and a more natural environment for listening to speakers, especially for small ones.
You need to hear them in real life. They sound close but the B&O sounds "boxy". It has better highs and clarity. But doesn't sound neutral. Even if we are not looking at the price difference I would prefer the Tribit. I used the manual because I could hear some resonance from the B&O when it was on the table. I know my recording setup isn't the best but at least you can hear some difference. The tribit sounds distorted on the video. It may be because of the air hitting the microphone. It sounds cleaner in real life.
thanks for the comparison Matus. The tribit stormbox micro is impressive and itś more than half the price of B&O. I thought that B&O would sound better cos of their brand...was i wrong. The ribit sounds fuller, clearer, better bass sound...So I purchased 2 tribit stormbox micro...I replaced my little Altec bluetooth which sounded anemic. Overall sound and quality, the tribit is a much better speaker. tribit even sounds better than the bose sl micro which sounded muddy.
Thanks for commenting ! Yes, it is very impressive for the size and price beating the more expensive or bigger speakers. I sold my B&O after getting this one
@@Igor-vf9lh No I have it, its pretty comparable in size, maby 10% bigger overall and still easily a pocket sized speaker. A1 is twice the size of the city

The tribit is crazy good for the price and size... it sounds much better, specially on the song from 4:54
P2 has more refined treble. The Tribit more extended bass. I own them both and like them both. Budgetwise the Micro is a winner. Buy two!
which is louder?
Hey, what about Micro 2 vs P2? Have you tried them?
The Beoplay has more treble extension because it has a dedicated tweeter. The Stormbox Micro has more bass extention. The Micro is more flat (natural) in the midrange whereas the Beoplay sounds more dipped (v shaped).
I can agree

I got the Tribit and I do love it. Still trying to find out how you can use two of them as a stereo system.
I'm glad you like it!
I don't know, I have only one.

I think P2 has better punch to the bass and better soundstage
But otherwise the other speaker is better
True
Bro why the hell do you often switch between them every 3 seconds? What's the point?
Because youtube would take down the video
Tribit sounds richer and fuller
I choose between these speakers, please tell me where there are more basses, and how much tribit is good
B&O has more high-bass. Tribit has deeper bass. I prefer Tribit
matus3303 thank you
Both really impressive sound and great look. If price doesn't matter, The p2 wins
why my P2 is only 2hours battery life in 100% max volume? thanks for your reply.
I have no idea but mine didn't last much longer at max volume.
Is the tribit still good after one year of use?
Yes, I still use it and it works perfectly
@@matus3303 ok, thanks for the info
Your sound test is not conclusive and fair.
Why did you put the B&O P2 on the Stormbox Micro manual?
You need to hear them in real life. They sound close but the B&O sounds "boxy". It has better highs and clarity. But doesn't sound neutral.

no other small speakers can defeat P2 in terms of sound quality
Vifa City already does...
@@lukabosnjak3829 Vifa City is much bigger than P2, it is different category compared to BO A1 rather.
