What a strange home! Absolutely beautiful property, but they kept making the same mistake with the house, even as they added on. Windows in the wrong spots, no closets, layout of rooms is just nutty. Pretty aggressive pricing for such an old place, but if you got an extra 100k on top of the asking price to fix the old girl up then it could be a nice place to call home.

I wonder if it’s got the air conditioner and the intake is just above the wood-burning stove heat rises if you put the air conditioner on fan only would it draw the heat from the stove up into the intake and circulate it through registers and if it does I wonder if it will do damage or not

The House and property have been pretty well taken care so I would imagine it's in good shape... but like you said its an older structure and certainly needs tlc here and there.
The air conditioner may also be a furnace.

@@OutcastLand I can say from experience that's in excess of 2K to cut it and remove. Bare minimum. Then you have to take into account how accessible is the property for the heavy equipment.

Outcast Land, great job of promoting a home, I had no questions, & it's as if I was there in person, I looked at land in the late 1980s
around Branson, with my engineer, 60 Ac on a lake, didn't buy but came close, engineer bought 2 homes the next year, we both are
from Orange County Calif. he has since passed away, I'm 81 now with 7 homes & cash in bank, I gave it good thought to buy this home
but decided I couldn't do the land justice. I am not a hunter & this property need to be maintained properly. Just wanted to commend

I could really make this into a dream home private get away! I've flipped many houses and turned them into one of a kind dream homes. This sweet spot on 20 acres is no doubt, an easy project with all that acreage to make it your own. Not sure if I would leave these Blue Ridge Mtns near the New River in beautiful S.W. Virginia. Very idyllic! Have never spent any time in Missouri so I have no knowledge of the area etc.. wish I did. Pretty flat for a Montana couple and far from the oceans I grew up on. If the price is right I could imagine this as a peaceful place to retire.
