Thank you for all the work you do nati you’re making a difference in the world just by being you. Body doubling absolutely helps my spicy brain get tasks done that are overwhelming. Keep up the good work friend I’m so proud of you!
I watched 2 other reviews on spirit city lofi sessions that mentioned it was "good for body doubling", but this video was the first to actually explain the point of co-working/body doubling. Thanks for being informative and concise! Do you know which of these use the least PC resources? I use programs that tax the CPU and don't want to slow down the performance of those programs with one of these running in the background.
Thank you so much for this comment! This is really great feedback to hear and I am glad I could shine some light on coworking/body doubling. In terms of PC use, I am not 100% sure. What I can say is that Chill Pulse recently released on Mac, and I have used it on my mac mini 2 - and it runs smoothly. I consider my PC much more powerful than my mac mini. If that gives you an idea. I know the system requirements for the games are all listed on steam if that provides any helpful info.
I play Weyrdlets because I saw the trailer for it and I love desktop pets growing up. I played it for a month and use the todo on it every now and then, its great for quick ones. I want more productivity "games" like this, something that I can have on my desktop but not full screen or take up monitor space, just a small part of it. I already use a lot of productivity tools outside of gaming and don't really need a game in-place of it, but I like the idea of productivity tools in Steam that helps with a lot of general things. I might be able to use these systems instead of my current one. Now if there was a desktop pet sort of productivity game with art related productivity tools, now that would be perfect for me lol.
I love hearing this! I definitely would love to see more desktop mode games for productivity. It’s nice having it on screen with you rather than taking up a screen sometimes.
