I did some work back in the day for Mr. Weathers at this home in Venice. The funniest thing that ever happened to me at work happened in his home. I was working in his master bedroom closet one day leveling off a doorway to make the carpet and tile even. If I remember correctly he had a cocker poodle type of dog. And right after I smoothed out this cement the dog peeked around the door and instantly darted in my direction. I screamed out Stop Stop but his paws couldn’t stop on the marble bathroom floor and he just slid all the way through the bathroom, the cement and knocked me on my butt 🤣… anyways after all that happened he was so scared he took off throughout the house with wet cement all over his paws and belly. Then I ran after him to keep him from getting cement all over the house but the damage was already done. When I finally caught up to the dog he was in the kitchen next to Mr Weathers standing there dumbfounded 😄… He said my god what happened up there?… I said it happened so fast sir i only seconds to react. Ended up he was a perfect gentleman and put all the blame on himself for not having the dog outside while I was working.
