    As a 40 year old I can say this man along with Schwarzenegger Willis and Van Damme changed the movie game.

    • @lyrand6408
      @lyrand6408 3 месяца назад +46

      Yep for me too (41 here). I grew up watching their movies mostly in the 90s (including their movies from the 80s, on VHS mind you... man, memories there). They're icons for me. I would also add Jackie Chan to that group (whom I believe should have appeared in at least one of the Expandable movies). Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger in particular are living legends; they both lived enough to fill up 3 lives of events in a single one, an incredible journey they had.

    Rocky is the greatest movie character ever and the best thing about the character is that we can all be just like him. Life is all about getting back up after being knocked down, never giving up, fighting for your family and believing in yourself but most of all it teaches us that the only person who can truly change your life is the person who looks back at you in the mirror. Rocky should be taught in school!

    Sylvester Stallone is one of the few remaining legends of Hollywood. People do not even realize that he has written hundreds of scripts that have never been made, he is an accomplished artist as well, and above all of that is a real fine gentleman. I got a chance to meet him a long time ago in Los Angeles and he was so kind and accommodating to me and my family. We took pictures with him, and really appreciated his willingness to take the time to talk with us. Thanks, Sly.

    Sylvester Stallone is a legend! He is an inspiration as a human being and what a great sense of humour and a beautiful devoted father and husband. I have always loved & admired him, as would many of his friends and colleagues. Pure, good soul.

    Thank you, Mr Stallone, for many years. Many good. and several. not so good movies. Your wonderful actor. And yes, you are, Sir, made to play rocky. Thanks for the entertainment and keep it coming for many years to come. I too like to pass it on to my family and children. God bless you from northeast Wisconsin.

    my dad(rip)was a danish military commando trained in boxing/martial arts combat fighting in the old days in 1940's ww2.and was sent to the pacific theater:/South China Sea an active war front to guard allied forces armament ships from frogman attacks that placed mines on the hulls of the ships to destroy their cargo hold of bombs/guns/ammo...... his favourite boxer was Rocky Marciano. and was told he could possibly get the European middle weight title but he pursued his career as a sailor making his first mate papers after the war and then got married then they moved overseas to a new life with the kids. he loved watching the Stallone rocky movies.☺

    Beg to defer Sly. You have always had major swag. I discovered that. In one of your classic films. "The Lords of Flashbush(1974)." Which I believe is where you met Henry Winkler(Fonzie). Mr. Stallone back then was an underdog. The critics were very harsh and called him dumb/no talent. But like all amazing underdogs. You certainly proved them wrong. Many times over. Your charismatic, funny, intelligent, handsome and gifted actor/writer. Best of all you've created a beautiful family. With your lovely wife. Really check out the movie. You'll understand why I say. All those things about Sly. Henry Winkler was also amazing. In the movie.❤️🥰🥊
