I feel this. Recently set up Road to Perdition to a Blu ray player for my pops on a crt. There's just something about the slightly bulging out screen that I miss.
I only ever got Minecraft in 2013 (I praise the diagonal house in the castle on the tutorial world) And I loved it then and I love it now Playing console Minecraft makes everything feel so simple again.
Not really, no. This television set takes only radio waves, meaning that the HDMI from the Xbox needs to first be turned i to composite analog signal and then into a radio wave. It's like if you were to use a modern car's engine in a car from the 1950s- It just doesn't make sense.
@@ironrooster3539 Not what I meant buddy. Technologywise yeah, of course what you say is true. But what I meant was like the game (graphics etc.) kinda matches the tone for this old TV. Like it "feels" right to see this game on this TV.

For some reason, this feels right.
i can't put into words how nostalgic this makes me feel
imagine if timelines were different and Minecraft was a game on the Atari
The atari would be so ahead of its timeline
😂 so just atari with more pixels or mincraft with less pixels 😂😂
Technology would probably have advanced much further by now in that timeline.
The random statics gives it a sort of analog horror feeling ngl
that sound of pulling the power knob is the chef's kiss of nostalgia
This is about the best video I've seen of someone doing this. Normally people use a pc which doesn't look all that great on 480i
I swear, Zenith built some of the best CRTs out there.
I like that old school tv 1980.s
I miss the days of using butter knives to hook up my Nintendos
We had this same exact TV when I was a kid. My dad would always ask my sister and I to go turn the stations for him. LOL. No remote

Radioshack, thats a name I haven't heard in a long time
i let out a long, low whistle as soon as i saw that tabletop spin around.
That Zenith is based and Shangopilled.
Dude got the rotating platform and all. Sick.

This is exactly how I used to play Minecraft
That's My Favorite Minecraft Tutorial world I miss it
there will never be anything like this feeling
Old tube TVs could tell its on in the other room just from the hum of the tube. Also can hear the hum of outside high powered antenna too.
Thats a nice crt u got there
This is cool but play Minecraft on your Panasonic flatscreen TV in 2005.
I literally used to play Lego Batman and Forza Horizon 2 on a TV like that in my room YEARS ago.

Dude my eyes are burning from here only
A crt from this era probably has never been hooked up to an Xbox 360 or newer
I want one of these tvs :(
Also reminds me of the OG command and conquer static sounds. Static asmr has to be a thing for weridos like me.
I So miss that hum.
What channel do you want to watch? clunk…. clunk… clunk…
Why can’t the internet have more of this content all of the time
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂
its 29hz ... but i like it !!
I kinda wanna see minecraft on a little Zenith 5" with the AM-FM radio
What happened to the 75ohm coax input? This TV absolutely had one.
I had that same machine lol
TV at my grandmother's house 😢😂
i rembeer doing this all the time in 1995 to play minecraft
Please try Dark Souls
We still have one of this old TV at my grandma house
this is absolutely amazing
i want to do this so bad
im still trying to find an old pc monitor to use with my laptop though 😂
How cool does this look
Only problem is you're playing on an Xbox when you should be playing on a PlayStation
Channel 3?
What a beauty
minecraft on pc can be run at 320 x 240 btw
Sorcery
Tbh, this TV is way too old even to use a modulator to play even the old consoles on RCA.
Es la primera vez que veo un televisor de esos y la imagen es terrible 😅
the image IS terrible. but things like motion clarity is superior on these old monitors.
But can it run Doom? Or how about Crysis?
I always just used a vcr
Holy
Match made in heaven

@kratochvil11 I'd say that Atari or NES would match better on this model imo
Не играй много в Майнкрафт, кинескоп посадишь
this setup is so jank
Them TV's were crap then and now

You couldve gotten the correct connectors to put back onto that adapter instead of screwing down on wires like a noob.
The forks? Nah I like jank
