I'm a tower crane apprentice right now in Canada and the cranes we use in my company are nothing compared to this we can only climb one or two floors at a time, I can't wait to be on a liebherr some day

They call a very large crawler crane or road crane to take the tower crane down. It's pretty common in my city. It looks really scary but the contractor is quite used to doing it.
J'ai toujours aimé l'innovation de LIEBHERR, mais ici, que se passe t il si le béton n'est pas de bonne qualité, ( sauf la qualité ALLEMANDE très peu de reproches ) de plus nous vivons dans une société de consommation où il faut produire vite et beaucoup! Vite et bien est totalement impossible. Y a t il une sécurité pour le conducteur de la grue?

Do any of the components remain installed in the building, and what happens with the shaft? Filled in, elevators, etc....?

They used these types of cranes when building the original World Trade Center towers.

not possible to use a small crane on top of building if it has structured place to hold it (Like 2nd elevator shaft)?

When the crane is gone there will be an elevator.
