as a burn enjoyer, I do 120k+ without buffs/foods (no crossbow no axe) use 2 saviour, 1 special glove (Hardy gloves), 3 sheltered. The only cont of the build is the Pet. Accuracy is your side to side spray, or bloom. Stability is how much your gun kicks up from recoil. Accuracy will make you shoot straight like a laser if high enough. Stability will keep you from needing to manually control your gun's climb as it fires.
To put it simple, the damage calculation. Status DMG and Elemental DMG are separate places in the calculation, resulting in a balanced amount of Status DMG and Elemental DMG dealing more damage than when one value is significantly higher than the other.
I feel they nerfed the shit out of the frost and this build since i have seen people doing 100k dmg with it when i have exact the same what they have. This is the first guide, that gets me somewhat close with 35k to 40k of dmg with normal tungstun bullets and level 4 deviant and not to forget, all mods enchanced and with elemental/status dmg so it might even been nerfed after this build too.

@@d3athwish the stacking of buffs makes the trigger of the burn consistent. Meaning in PW or stages that require consistent damage, the burn will always apply without having to stack it all over again. The mod of the shotgun is the one that applies the condition that only half of the stacks are lost should it expire, while the LMG with the boosted stacks increase the damage of the burn. However, there is a big downside to this build which is something that you'll probably notice when you try it. This build only works on stages that have high HP, and anything lower than Pro or Nightmare will be detrimental due to the time and setup needed to increase the burn. This is wrong. Status Damage = Elemental Damage. They may add more status damage types with further equipment in future, which do not deal elemental damage, but at the moment they are equal.
