    Just a quick note, Covered Advance cannot fall off. You just need 4s of not taking dmg to proc it and it then stays the whole duration no matter what you do.
    Also great guide, never have seen anyone use this build besides myself. Constantly outdamaging most people with a support build. Also love the Shellfish food for another +5% Vulnerability in group play.

    • @Xelray
      @Xelray  Месяц назад

      Shellfish is a good passive mention. I should of included that. Woke up at 4, got a drink of water and started talking. I understood covered advanced that after 30 seconds, you have to refresh it again. So it just actively refreshes itself anytime during the 30 second duration? My worry was after the initial 30 seconds, if you took damage from seconds 26-30, it'd take a second to refresh, it cannot be torn off, yet refreshing might be an issue in certain situations.
      However, readability in this game isn't the best, so logically reading the sentence given has failed me in the past.

    I like your builds and you seem to be a smart guy, most importantly I really appreciate your honesty when you explained why you did so much damage on treant. The stun pattern reveives like 3x more damage and too many youtubers are abusing it as massive clickbait. Your video could have done without the intro but I can understand why as a youtuber you'd need to do it, nobody would take your build seriously if you only displayed realistic and expectable damage numbers.
    One thing you forgot to mention is that falcon only gives crit rate and 20% crit damage while above 90% stam, which is most of the time but if you need to roll around for whatever reason, it wont. However, falcon is much easier to upgrade as, at least in season 1, fragments can be found, whereas it's extremely difficult to upgrade Lone Wolf without buying the pieces directly. I think it's definitely something to factor.
    Cheers and keep up the good work, I'll keep following you

    • @Xelray
      @Xelray  Месяц назад

      This was in part a mockery of big numbers, I normally don't show off bloated numbers, yet with the fuss going around with people saying 300k DPS... I thought I'd give them a cut by actually telling people not to expect this bloated numbers in all situations. And anyone can artificially create those numbers with the know how. I usually show high parse or first mag unload typically. My own rating is over 20 seconds, what is my DPS with food and drink. That seems fair to circumstance.
      To combat the downside of falcon, I use rabbit meat in most builds. So I have 140 stam, I can roll typically twice almost back to back and keep the buff up. Which makes it a non issue. Also, I do believe lonewolf is better for this build, I just didn't have the right 3 piece, it's hard not spending my starchrom on everything, yet I hope for a new gun or two next season. Fortuntely, armor for Weapon damage builds only directly effects your health for your build, so you can run around in 1 star armor, yet conversely, you need to star up your gun ASAP.

    I think that Covered Advance is the best boots mod. After its effect is triggered (just not taking damage for 4s) the effect will be on for the next 30 seconds. You can take damage in this meantime and it will not deactivate. So it is almost a permannent 20% damae boost

    • @Xelray
      @Xelray  Месяц назад

      My only issue is from seconds 26-30, if you take damage, it tanks your damage. If you are in proper firefight, or in a fight that has continous damage(Final boss Lea, Arachism, Poison grenades, fire, sanity draining puddles, ect) you really can't get the effects without running for cover and having them stripped off.
      That's not to say it's good. Yet when I can be at 10% all the time, then 20% when I'm not getting hit, feels like a better trade off when I hardly have to run to cover to not die. Yet, that comes from Cover-based shooters not being my jam, I'm much more of a run and gun player.
      Boots and Chest mods are always up to player preference. I just get more mileage in my opinion with steady.

    • @Xelray
      @Xelray  29 дней назад

      Correct, it does not, yet if you are taking damage near the fall off time, it does not activate, and you have to have a full four seconds of not taking damage to let it take effect. • @Xelray
      @Xelray  Месяц назад +1

      Momento should be able to hit harder in the end. Jaws got a slight damage increase since Closed Beta 3, I did a video on it then. Now it's sitting a little bit below the Wildfire. So Damage wise, Momento, Wildfire, Jaws. Utility wise, Wildfire, Momento, Jaws.
      As far as weapon stats. It depends on which gun. Momento gets a lot of free bullets, so while reload speed is important, it's not as important in that state. Jaws just needs 1 weakspot hit every three seconds, so it's stability and accuracy aren't as important.
      For Weakspot builds. Stability and Accuracy are super important. And then depending on needs Reload would be right up there, if not next in line. Not a perfect answer, yet hope it helps!

      Remember, you increase everyone in your teams DPS by roughly 20% with this build too. In my server, Outsider is awesome for void, yet you'd need to run pistol or a burn item to deal with balance.
      So really, to answer your question plainly, solo, probably outsider, multiplayer, wildfire. I am running a wildfire build as my main in Season/Scenario 2. And the weakspot build does hit a lot harder than the crit version, you just got to be accurate. Yet almost it feels like double the damage.

Currently have that achieved with The Last Valor, my video is a bit old, Wildfire, Outsider, and also Mr Squid bounce build, Yet that requires some silly set up(Double turrets to act as allies to deal damage to bosses you can't get close to) and the dummy can't bounce bullets for whatever reason.

      For pvp its too hard to hit consistant weakpoints, i have literally better damage shoting torso 0 heads. So i donno 🤓 btw. This passive 20% its not flat more damage, so its nice to hit but its not mandatory to hit the head to make damage

      Raw damage without food or any buffs is around 45k on the corrosion, I've seen people without much effort hit 70k+ dps. I think I read 10k more damage than what I showed, which made me think of corrosion. I do know hitting weakshots on my outsider increases my damage from 30k to about 35k currently. Which is pretty massive. I still need to tune that build up a bit. And I'm still missing best in slot armor.
      I'd assume Outerspace would go up to roughly 40k with standard set up of food/drink, and shooting a standard pattern. The outerspace also bounces around a ton, unlike the outsider and the wildfire in the case of this video's comparison.

      @@Xelray bounces, you mean its not that stable? Its good for short and mid distance, its not that amazing for wars - maybe for that outisder would be better, but for 1vs1 1vsX, cargo etc its really solid and its very versitale, i dont like shotguns i think its too situational, you need to gap close and there is a lot of open space, missing shots is also more punishing

    For the calibration on the wildfire: Rapid Shot Style with double weakspot dmg or double crit?

      For my setup, whichever the attack +25% is, then double crit, otherwise attack and double weakspot.

      @@Xelray Oh ok,
      Rapid shot style: +25% fire rate, +40% mag size, -15% atk
      So you are using Precision Style: +25% atk, +40% range, -10% fire rate.
      There is also Assault style but dont know if pistols can have it.
      With the -10% fire rate sometimes it lags behind or stops shooting for me but I dont know if it because of the fire rate or I tap too fast

    I see that you’ve fused all your Frags which i think is a bad mistake because you can’t upgrade weapons anymore this season. But build wise for content i think it’s good. Will expect more builds in the future, keep it up.

      Not that big of a deal. Everyone is going to eventually go full legendary. Additionally, the set bonus is what matters. Having marginally higher health/psi intensity won't make or break a build

      @@CHICKENANDWATERMELONS Yeah i get it, but legendary have brands that all other gears have so by not fusing you can upgrade that legendary gear with the same brand that the blues or purples have. That's the whole reason to not fuse and keep upgrading your main build. It definitely doesn't break a build, but it's required for min maxing if you want to melt bosses. Not that it's a requirement, just a nice feeling is all.

    • @Xelray

      In Beta I made the mistake of upgrading gear before fusing. I couldn't make minor changes that benefited my build in the long run. Never again. I will always die on the hill of fuse and have before using additional fragments. Not only does it allow you to experiment for better potential mixed, yet if next season you see a wish draw for renegade, and it's 3 pieces you weren't expecting, you don't need to tweak everything over again to make your 2 piece work that you weren't ready for.
      Star rating will come easy enough if you focus on one build. I think most people are doing that on meta builds, which I can only assume will get nerfed/balanced out of their exploitative ranges(Corrosion sniping in PvP as an example due to specific stats too easy to build).

      @@Xelray That's a fair point, it's experience and a style of play. Are you saying that the wish machine changes the drop with seasons? Is that why i keep seeing shrapnel equipment in the wish machine or if i remember correctly first two of the wish machine sections?
      Oh yeah, there will totally be nerfs, especially to the corrosion guns or the shotgun for that matter. That damn thing this like a dumpster truck from what I've seen.

      Each season we will have four different themed pulls(This first season is The Last Valor and Boom Boom). After you buy the piece outright, that'll be a for sure way to star up, after that, it'll just be luck from the RNG rolls.
