- In this video, I talk about how I had to swap my IKEA Billy shelves into the master bedroom, buying the wrong sized shelves, my plans for placing LEGO by theme, what the current state of the room looks like, and how I have certain dilemmas with the shelves and hoe they are placed.

you could anchor the shelves to the wall to help with sturdiness
How are the larger technics fitting on the Billy Bookcase? As the ones I’ve looked at aren’t wide enough.
They fit perfectly if you put them sideways. I personally like it that way too so I have no issues. Only one on each shelf though.
@@MKBRICKS as I’ve seem ones but the shelves are only 30cm wide. I assume sideways they wouldn’t fit the larger technics?
The larger technics definitely fit but only sideways. There are PAX wardrobe shelves that fit more than one and you can position them however you want
Hi MK BRICKS,
really like your Channel and content. Very authentic, sympathic and funny 😊
I solve my place problem simple in collecting only 2-3 themes of sets for example in my case it is City, medieval and some sets like the vespa or the Bugatti or something like that so with this decision i can Manage my place More smarter.
Best from Lake constance in Germany Michael 😊
Thanks bud! Much appreciation. It means a lot to hear that. Your way of collecting definitely seems much more organized and constructed well. I see something pleasing and I just want to build it, haha. Although as of the last few months I have been much more selective. Thanks again for the kind words!
Get some big retired sets! That will really make everything pop. Maybe some inconspicuous soft lighting hid in the shelving to display in low light?
I thought about the subtle lighting for sure. Glad you mentioned that too. Thanks for the advice!
Room looks great man, really got some nice sets! Would love a space like that.
It’s coming along! Just put up more shelves and have 2 more before I do another room tour. Thanks again.
@@MKBRICKS lookin*forward to seeing that mate! Great content
Bro I get lost in Ikea and then frantically try to find my parents every time I go 😭💀
Room looks really nice and organized too tho
Thanks, bud! Ikea is a beast in Schaumburg.
@@MKBRICKS ya lol
They are really nice
Love where the titanic is against the wall, you should make it going though the walll
Lol, it’s 1/3 built. That would be a funny idea though!
The only problem with Lego ( aside from the price) is you will eventually need more space. No matter how much space a person has they will eventually run out and need more. My wife and I have over 1,500 sets and we have to pack up the ones that has been on display the longest to make room for new sets that we buy and build. It's crazy! Lol.
You’re absolutely not wrong. I’ve been putting my room together and still don’t have all my sets out but I’ll always think that and what the next steps I would have to take. Pretty much what you said, most likely swapping out sets or selling off some. It’s wild!
@@MKBRICKS Yeah and I hate that because who wants to pack up some of their Lego sets just to make room for new ones.
No kidding. It just feels silly at that point, lol
@@MKBRICKS Lol.
Wow love the room so cool 👍
Thanks, bud! It’s coming along.
