Couldn’t agree more. I wanted one of these cars the moment it was released as well. It far exceeds any expectations I had. Awesome looking car, amazing engine, and handles like you wouldn’t believe
I have driven both, and I went for the B8.5. It's thrilling to drive. Sounds amazing. Classic, timeless style in and out. The car has a soul, and it howls at wide open throttle. Add a JHM Stage 2 ECU+TCU tune, x-pipe and you'll be smiling all day long.
@@theawesomechannel8662hell no they ruined it with them ugly headlights. Looks like they got stretched back. And lets not forget Its a V6 that sounds horrible compared to the 2015 RS5
My brother, that’s a B9.5, since you’re counting refreshed gens (.5). I have a ‘21 RS5 Sportback with the extremely rare (1 of 100) Ascari Launch Edition in Ascari Blue metallic. They come fully loaded, including carbon brakes, RS dynamic ride control, dynamic steering, RS sport diff, optimized quick and stout ZF8 trans, full matrix and laser headlights, 20” forged wheels, etc…. I do love the NA V8, have had it in a previous A8 and AMG, but I can’t complain about the huge performance out of this 2.9tt Porsche motor, plus i can cruise on the highway at 75mph and return 30 MPH all day. When I add a mild tune to it, I’ll have close to 550 horses and 600 lb ft. It already does mid 11 1/4 mile runs. When we talk collectors items, let’s remember all modern Audi’s tendency for carbon build up over time contributed by the direct injection….oh and the sludge. Don’t get me wrong, I love your B8.5, just keepin it real. 🍺
Hello from the UK. As a fellow 2015 Sepang Blue RS5 V8 owner, it was great to see you do the B8.5 vs B9 platform comparison. Your friend was luck getting his V6 painted Sepang. It’s one of the most stunning colours I’ve came across and one which I’ve personally had the most positive comments about from random strangers. The V8 generation is going to be a future collectors car. The B9 won’t. Love the idea of the PPF.
Thank you so much! We were very excited to see Sepang blue back, we almost never see it on the newer selections and we could't pass up the opportunity. we still see it come by from time to time for a detail from our partners next door.
I nearly bought a 2024 RS5 a couple of weeks ago. I came to my senses and thought it would be more practical to buy an S5. For as quickly as they depreciate, I could buy a 2023 RS 5 with 5k miles on it $15,000 less than the price of a 2024.
It’s a fantastic car. Ours is about to go up for sale. 32k mile, full car PPF, JHM Exhaust, in perfect condition, $46k. Check out IG: authentic_rs5 and message us if you’re interested.
@@stefanomarcellino6701 Totally agree. The RS5 B9 is def a faster car. Some say at the cost of a more fun driving experience as there isn't much more fun than an N/A V8. Others would say Turbo swooshes and more torque is a better experience. That's I do love them both. Two completely different cars and experiences.
I'd take the B8.5 with the interior the B9 chassis. The exterior of the B9 looks like a Ford Fusion. Put the tail lights from the B9 on to the B8.5 and you'll have the most perfect vehicle.
AUDI RS5 2015, audi's mIss Opportunity, they should have gave us 2 opt v8 and v6 supercharge in the RS5 model the S5 is a better platfoarm and a more Tuneable and Lightweight and very much more of a Nimble car for Spirited driving just wish the S5 platfoarm had the Rs5 body with the v6 opt thats why they came back with the v6 platfoarm in the new body style but they F up becuzs the old RS5 is the body style to have audi u F up big time on this one but i think y'all no that, thats why u put the v6 turbo in the new model but still came up short damn it man.
Fellow B8.5 RS5 (Daytona Grey Pearl) owner here! I really enjoyed this video!
Glad to hear it! Thank you!
The Audi RS5 B8.5 is my dream car! I'm totally in love with this car since it came out! I hope i own one someday. :)

I recently bought a 2017 S5 from Colorado Springs dealer love the car it has the seeping blue a gorgeous car inside and out
Older look better
And sounds far better!
We 100% agree
Nothing beats the sound of a V8 starting up.
Nah b9 looks better

Sepan blue is a beautiful color.
It is! We are really happy people can still get it.

I kept my v8 RS5 for the music and added a Porsche, now I own both a Grand Piano and a Chainsaw.

the old one looks a million times better plus that v8..
We could not agree more with you about that! Just can't beat that V8!
The sepang b8.5 rs5 is the mist beautiful car i have ever seen. I think it is perfection and is actually prettier than the new one
I'm glad I ain't the only one, I feel like a lot of the newer Audi's don't look as good as the old ones. EX: 1st gen R8, A7 vs the 2nd gen
My RS5 just arrived at the port. Will be bringing it to you in September! What’s the tint % on the B9?
Love to hear that, can't wait to see it in person. The B9 has windshield tint at 70%
i choose the b8.5 that v8 is too nice to hear
You should see the video we made on the new JHM exhaust we put on it, amazing sound, so so much better than the original.
Selling my ‘22 m240 for a b8.5 RS5. Has 50k miles and seems to have been well maintained, feels like now or never for getting a decently fresh one

The main thing is it will cost a small fortune to replace the rotors
The old car is far better looking! Perfect colour choice, the one I’m looking at getting in fact

8.5❤
So very glad you decided not to start them together, would have been a very short comparison video….. v8 all the way…
Agree. Esp considering the V8 has a JHM Exhaust on it :)
A drag race would also be over in about 11.5 seconds for the B9.5 ☺️

wtf no start up? I wanna hear them rev side by side

Older naturally aspirated version is so much cooler.
V8 any day.
2023 is a pure ford
RS5 looks better...still.
They have maintained a strong look through all the different years, personally we like the look on the 2015. And you just can’t beat the v8 sound!
@@authenticdetails Have the V8. Beautiful, sonic engine...
Why has the RS5 got all of those weights stuck all over the wheels ???
Hahah.
Amateur.
Hahha.
And not even driven....
What a waste of my time.
New looks way better old sounds way better
