Just over a year ago I found out my son had blood cancer. I heard this song when I was in hospital feeling really low, it spoke to me and the lyric about “it not be true, but it is. Oh it is” made me cry. A YEAR LATER AND MY SON IS CANCER FREE. I love you God!!

I was very lucky and able to retire after 31 years as a school RN in 2019. A few years later, I let my nursing license expire on my 58th birthday. I want nothing to do with what the corrupt and evil sickcare system became in 2020. It was quite a shock and cut deep. Many blessings to you! ❤❤❤

Right there with you except I'm a woman. I live in a subdivision so I don't have room for a lot but I garden, have fruit and nut trees & have a few chickens. I don't know how long I will be able to garden, but for as long as God gives me strength, I will. I've got some of my neighbors gardening now and planting fruit trees & berries. I preserve what I grow, save seeds, & propagate edible plants. I try to add something every year. I love being outside and growing things.

I am truly blessed. I wish there was a way to have his dream come to fruition in every state, because it is certainly needed and there’s enough of us who feel the same way to come together and share our experience and knowledge. My daughter who was raised in this small town had moved to Minneapolis for college and stayed, her and her fiancé were afraid to move back up here because they didn’t think they could make enough money. They bought an old farmstead with a half cobbled together half remodel big house and started a flower and vegetable farm…… they couldn’t be happier !!! They both work odd jobs around the growing, harvesting, making bouquets, markets, taking care of all the animals and remodeling the house but they know all this hard work is building their life !!! He’s a carpenter and can work as much as he wants and she cleans a restaurant and could clean more but not enough hours in a day. You can do it !!!! Do some research, save up some emergency money and dive in !!!

Just over a year ago I found out my son had blood cancer. I heard this song when I was in hospital feeling really low, it spoke to me and the lyric about “it not be true, but it is. Oh it is” made me cry. A YEAR LATER AND MY SON IS CANCER FREE. I love you God!!

Right there with you except I'm a woman. I live in a subdivision so I don't have room for a lot but I garden, have fruit and nut trees & have a few chickens. I don't know how long I will be able to garden, but for as long as God gives me strength, I will. I've got some of my neighbors gardening now and planting fruit trees & berries. I preserve what I grow, save seeds, & propagate edible plants. I try to add something every year. I love being outside and growing things.

I’m 57, single, female….i have a big garden and preserve a lot of food, I’ll be processing my 20 meat birds in a week. If I had more land I would have more animals but I buy from local farmers.
It’s a lot of work but it’s easier than people think, I guess it’s a lifestyle.

My daughter who was raised in this small town had moved to Minneapolis for college and stayed, her and her fiancé were afraid to move back up here because they didn’t think they could make enough money. They bought an old farmstead with a half cobbled together half remodel big house and started a flower and vegetable farm…… they couldn’t be happier !!! They both work odd jobs around the growing, harvesting, making bouquets, markets, taking care of all the animals and remodeling the house but they know all this hard work is building their life !!! He’s a carpenter and can work as much as he wants and she cleans a restaurant and could clean more but not enough hours in a day. You can do it !!!! Do some research, save up some emergency money and dive in !!!
