Very underrated this one! The thing I'd change is have the backgrounds for each character be different to match each character, just for that extra bit of immersion, otherwise cover is real good!
But sense he doesn't have an other arm maybe he can't glide but in the other hand Bruh like he doesn't care if knuckles die by fall damage, Knuckles POV ( I don't really care if I die falling :) )

Knuckles part would be more realistic if you just tilted his sprite a little bit (cause knuckles just looks like he’s singing and floating on mid air) or better instead of tilting him just make him spin cause I don’t think knuckles has enough strength to balance himself in mid air like BF can
Actually bf shouldnt be falling either because in the background, the building isnt moving, there just standing there cus its not real its just and illusion That monotone/xeno can make to trick bf
