One of the best mods for manual bmw is clutch delay valve delete. That’s why it’s cutting power and slow shifts. When u let clutch all the way out the valve still holds clutch slightly in for a second.
Gavin or anyone who is checking his comments!!!!! There is a clutch delay valve in the clutch line look into it and remove it. That should give you faster shifting aspects

Honestly it seems like its with the IRL intakes. Its a sponsor so he wont say it but if you had quality parts that werent all just rubber throughout you wouldnt have these issues. PQ might have noticed it but when its a sponsor like that you cant really just take it off

Okay, so my old Elantra and Mazdas had this, it's a little spring in the clutch line just after the slave cylinder on top of the engine. The point of the valve is to slow down shifts to make it feel smoother and easier to drive. If you remove that spring, it will make shifting feel more in line with the black car when it had the really notchy shifter.

I don't know about your bmw but when I hit traction control (light blinks) in mine it kills the power, you gotta go full tcs off (push and hold on the tcs button for several seconds) for it to fully let it eat. I usually won't do any rolls less then 60 with the tcs and my 135 only makes 501whp. I didn't see your post about going to abq or i would've been over there too. I wouldn't of had anything for you by any means but still would've been cool to see the car in person. Clutch delay valve did the same thing to mine by the way, on my setup you can literally just disconnect both sides and plug the line back in without it, it helps allot! Whataburger on Carlisle!!!

Yes, exactly! The CDV will cause hesitation in between hard shifts. I removed mine on my E46 M3 6-speed manual and it shifts so much quicker/smoother.
1000% this. the CDV is what is causing the issue. GAVIN please remove the CDV and you will be amazed how much faster that M4 is.
