What server do you use for running the strategies and do you code on trading view ?
I don’t code myself anymore, but I have a coder in my team. My automated strategies are running on a VPS through MT4: d2t.link/vps

Are you using the same algos for crypto which you use to trade forex?
Not the same strategies. Crypto is a bit more trend agressive.

Have you experienced not earning any money for 6 months or a year? What I see from backtests is that it seems fully possible to not earn money for a year. I also wonder if 2020 which was a great year for trading are giving the strategies I have tested a false impression of being more profitable than they really are.
Never for 6 months or a year. I trade multiple strategies so it’s easier. I’ve had 3 month long drawdowns though in the beginning of my trading journey
