Soundproofing in the bedroom is a nice touch.
If you don't walk in and out every day but do the occasional visit to the city, I can imagine it being a hassle to live in that very building. I guess if you live there 24/7 you might request a security clearance if secret service deems you eligible to skip some red tape? If you want that location and like the interior style, I think it's a great value for money. The age priced it down a bit perhaps, or newer fancier taller buildings just command double or triple the price per sq ft.

Central Park is nice, however living in tall buildings is a nightmare (including Trump Tower) the windows don't let any fresh air in, you are boxed in an enclosure, the sirens all the time, ambulances and police, it is a nightmare. There is a neighborhood nearby, they have beautiful townhouses for around 4 mil but they are miles better than this calamity.

The skinny one is Steinway Tower. The best place to live, IMO. If you get a very high floor. Try and see them. The skinny tower makes you "need" a duplex or triplex as provided up there. Some with a loggia in the vacant "wind through" floor. The smaller floors seem to give it a bit of a "townhouse in the sky" feel, kind of cozy. Not much of a walk front to back window, 17 meters or so. 28 meters in the also very skinny 432 Park tower.

It probably could be nice to spend there a week or a month on vacation or something like that. Living there for a long time would significantly reduce one's perception of its coolness. One either wouldn't see the views that much moving back and forth between home and work or just get used to them quickly.
