I love your volunteering idea because it could be on a consistent schedule, I will check with our local horticulture/sustainable gardening non-profits A few more: - go on a birding walk (most state parks offer them for free, even in winter) - roller skating together at a rink ($10-15) - fiber date nights: each partner picks something to work on separately (mending, darning, sewing, macrame, crochet, embroidery) - if you don't love crafting, use this as a time to mend and repair what you already own. darning socks is actually fun tbh

painting taper candles is so fun! also pro tip, try melting colored wax instead of paint to stick better to the candles :)
