- The second generation Porsche Panamera and Panamera Sport Turismo gain the GTS treatment. Using the 4.0L twin-turbo V8, the GTS looks to find the sweet spot between daily driver and track car.

Always been a fan of the Panamera even though I’m an OG 911 guy. Get inside and drive one, and you’ll appreciate the exterior design more. It’s a big low sports car. The new Sport Turismo shooting brake looks awesome.
I love this car so much.
Now THAT is one nice car!!
I've never been a fan of the Panamera, but, it is still an awesome machine. The 4S and GTS should have a greater ho difference than just 13hp. The GTS shouldve been 500hp or made it lighter.
Robert Lee James Welch especially going from a 2.9L TTV6 to a 4.0L TTV8
It's a luxury car , so that adds weight plus the 4wd pdk transmission ,and many other options .
As a Porsche fan this is all you can dream of without sacrificing space and sport driving.
It’s a beautiful car
Unfortunately in my experience the alcantara on the steering wheel has a tendency to wear out and look shitty over time and not a super long time.
Drive with leather gloves and the problem will appear much later.
Nice lid Ben!
The N/A version sounds much meaner than this turbo version ,the difference is just 30hp and 60nm ,just make it loud and scary .

I agree ,Alcantara sucks. Good review man.
Unfortunately destined to have the same fate of the 928. A great car that will plummet in value. You can find a mid-80s 928 in “decent” shape for $5K, even though they were $50K+ when new (about $117K in today’s money). I predict a lot of Panamera’s (possibly not turbos and a few limited run models) will end up being like the 928: sold down the line to a buyer who likes to be able to say they own a Porsche but won’t pay to maintain an expensive, high technology car. They’ll end up on Craigslist when an owner refuses to pay more for routine upkeep than they paid for the entire car. It’s already happening because you can find an older Panamera for less than a 1/4 of its original asking price when new. I might have to sell my 1986 928S in a few years and buy an (under appreciated great) Panamera.
01:33 24 valves for sure...
This better not be the new way motorweek does road tests...
Goodbye Porsche flat 6's. Hello VW/Audi group v6 and v8 turbo motors. Seems to be the trend. I'm not complaining, as long as they don't end up in a 911. This porsche sounds exactly like an Audi s6, hmm wonder why.
Dang! Carloss hotty
I can't get used to the look of this car .
Is this a reupload? I swear I've watched this before??
Sort of. Since we're a television show, sometimes we turn our online videos into show segments. We made some minor changes to this one when we put it in the show and the upload was mainly for the purpose of hosting it on our website.
Dude! At that price there isn’t a modest wallet.
So I can buy the GTS or a loaded ZL1 for half the price... I'm glad I bought the ZL1
Got nose?
😙
So the charger makes more HP than these?
We're way past giving a damn about that.
LMAO
BigWheel ....peasant
Ha ha right, he compares a huddle house butter knife to a Wusthof .. just crazy talk. 😮
There are lots of things I dislike about this car. The dual clutch auto, and that boring shifter, that awful material they used inside, the pointless touchscreen, and the piano black trim everywhere. Plus the enormous amount of electrical components that can go bad without any warning.
BUT, this is the only Porsche ive seen packing a proper V8 power plant.(no pointless hybrid junk) It also comes equipped with features not seen since the 90s, such as heads up display and adaptive air suspension. (Found on most Oldsmobiles such as the cutlass convertible, and toronado troféo)And with the option of 4WS available, this is the best of all worlds. But you better have deep pockets to get one. If I had the money, id but one over a corvette and the nsx.
LRulesTheWorld what are you talking about, how is a twin turbo over NA more ‘proper’?
Fugly car lol
