can someone tell him you can just press A in this game and have an intuitive attack come out? i get he's used to traditional fighting games but like he's using the same 4 moves with every character like he doesn't know how to input anything else. hold a towards your opponent and you will throw out an attack at them. I don't think I saw him use dash attack as simon once even though its a great way to respond to connecting with holy water/fire. I would also expect a traditional fighting game player to be not-horrible at spacing, like that's the one thing I expect you to be able to do decent in a game you played a decent amount of hours in. But nah, no fairs, bairs, nairs, fundies, dash attacks, grabs... just miss spaced F tilts and projectiles because he's terrified of having to actually interact and he plays this platform fighter on the map with no platforms because it makes his projectile camping easier. I don't think I saw him use dash attack as simon once even though its a great way to respond to connecting with holy water/fire. I would also expect a traditional fighting game player to be not-horrible at spacing, like that's the one thing I expect you to be able to do decent in a game you played a decent amount of hours in. But nah, no fairs, bairs, nairs, fundies, dash attacks, grabs... just miss spaced F tilts and projectiles because he's terrified of having to actually interact and he plays this platform fighter on the map with no platforms because it makes his projectile camping easier.
I feel bad like he must be in a really bad mood or be having a bad day to just 1. not really try to play the game in a fun way and 2. be mad when his really bad, lame playstyle doesn't work.
EDIT: I see he actually spams grab with snake for some reason. He finally finds a character who's best move is a tilt attack which he seems to love and he proceeds to just very slowly walk around the stage going for grabs and hopes that after his f-throw they air dodge into his upsmash
I love when people say "your trash at this game" when they losing and acting like they aren't also insulting theme in the process
