Why do I feel nostalgia to the point of it feeling like suffering now? Ever since the pandemic, even now in this post-COVID world, I still feel like something is still missing. I feel stuck, and I constantly catch myself in wishing that unknown thing I last really felt back in 2019 would just come back into my life today.
Yes! This is so on point for my experience right now.
I just read a giod piece on phantom memories. I guess it turne out that some memories that we can clearly recall either didnt happen, or happened quite differently than is remembered. Even when the memory contains vivid detail.
Hmmm. Not sure how to feel about that.

I think the film, DARK CITY, did a great job in demonstrating the seeming permanence of something ephemeral... our connection to our backstory.
You need a 7’ Steinway in your living room! I love mine! My husband was born an electronics engineer and he knew what he wanted to do when he was a little boy.. his 164 iq he has a PhD in Biomedical and electronics Engineering and he is 74 and has long haul was vaxD but he wants to go back to work w Motorola design ER and 911 ctrs like he’s done his entire life…
Now he’s helping friends with their solar system that includes batteries and EMP shields but I want to get into our big purple crazy bus.. 40’ diesel pusher and go somewhere… but we’re afraid of leaving our home because of what’s happening here in our country… we’re out in the country… near Boring Oregon thats a sanctuary city and not a place where you want to go… Adventist Hospital has become the most horrible place bcuz it’s changed from when I worked there a few decades ago
