A little late to the party😂, but i got one on the way, can't wait looks awesome! Very interesting to compare to the real thing!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us👍☘
What I did on my MB crawler was remove the bottom front seat cushions. It helps bring a Dragon 6th scale figure down a bit more. I also removed the feet of the figure I use for the driver so he sits far more comfortably in the position. Then used double-sided mounting tape to fix my figures and stowage in. Also found the weight of all the extra stuff makes it behave more like a jeep, it has a nice bounce on the shocks :)
Really enjoyed your demonstration vid, the comparison between the real thing n the rochobby willys was a great idea, I'm in the process of detailing mine, engine detail, mud n general weathering etc, then gunna add accessories etc, I've customised a dragon figure to include a micro servo inside for separate head movements, gunna post a vid in nxt few weeks
I've got a 1:1 as well and I'm going to detail mine just like my full size. I'm waiting to get this from a Buddy of mine because he picked it up for me. I'm going to detail the tool boxes, under the hood, etc. Markings will be like my Jeep, 340th BG 12th AAF as we do at EAA Airventure. You can purchase a .50 cal Ma Deuce, canvas top, and an MBT trailer. Look up 1/6 Rochobby Jeep accessories.
Just bought one with the trailer which sold separately and other cloth canopy. Also everyone FYI: Battery and charger are sold sepeperatly as well. Just keep that in mind. Sadly most unboxing videos don't mention that.
Very Nice, i saw in another video that you can remove the bottum of the driver seat so you gain a bit more space for the driver, so the head dont stick above the windshield. Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰
G’day mate. Great to see a video. Hope you are well. I haven’t done any RC for about a year either. Just been doing other stuff. Looks like a cool little truck. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
The head of the 12" figures are protruding over the windshield frame because the RocHobby Jeep is not truly 1/6. It is merely 1/6.35 - 6.5 in scale (depending which part of the Roc Hobby you're measuring). Wheelbase is 324mm. In 1/6 it should have 338mm. And you will find these differences over the whole model. I compared it to the Dragon Jeep static model in 1/6 scale and the Dragon is slightly larger in every dimension. Cool video and I am a little bit jealous (but in a positive way) that you own the real thing. I really love this car. I got several static kits from 1/87 up to 1/6. But I ain't got the budget to get me a 1/1. Far too expensive to get them here in Germany. Apart from the Duesenberg 1933 Weymann Speedster the Jeep is one of my two absolute dream cars.
I had absolutely no doubt this would end up on your bench. Specially having the real one. lol I have seen a few videos on this thing now and I got to say that it is very scale and a great looking rig on the trails. Thanks for sharing bud.
Hi there, great return video, you’re 1/1 jeep is still amazing, the rc jeep is the best one yet. I’ve got to get myself one, but my motorcycle repair bill comes first, then the jeep, can’t wait. Before you put a 1/6 scale driver in, take the seat base off and he fits nicely. When I get my one, I’m going to try hunter dan figures, I think he will fit good even with the seat base attached. Awesome video. 😎👍👍👍
You did a fantastic job on your Jeep, love it. How are you and your family. I was worried about you because I haven’t seen you make any more video’s. Missed your video’s. It was always chill out time when I watched you and the gang.
Have always loved the jeep especially the Willys MB but wouldn't want to get confused with other elements of the male anatomy! it's real fun to see these RC models arriving and it's really interesting to see that they can do pretty much what the real one does.
Awesome unboxing Your full Size one is sweet looking u dont see too many of those. Good to see u back for a video 🙂 Ali express may have some figures that may work for you.
i found a great fitting 6th scale driver on ebay dragon brand and was around $40 aud and just bought some ww2 period uniform for him as he was dressed in a desert stotm outfit and the machine gun was $65 aud from ebay at a store called hobbyco in australia also the canopy was also available although i bought that from another store on eaby , now going to buy some 1mm red led lights for the rear and fit them and paint in some details all round where will make a great difference , hope this helps all cheers guys :-)))))

Hey Cueball! Haven't been pulled over yet - I've seen a few cops around when driving it but no issues. I will never get a speeding ticket in it lol. There are lots of old cars in this area and you see them around on Sundays. The Jeep does have seatbelts though :).
