Great review as always 👍🏻👍🏻. Best part was to seeing you all happy and excited about this Jeep (arnd 0.30) even before the running vdo and throughout the review 🙂. Once again 👍🏻👍🏻
Wheelbase wise it is 1/12 scale. The wheelbase on a 1941 Willys MB is 2032mm the model is 169mm. I think a lot of RC vehicles that claim to be 1/10 scale but really aren’t. A 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4d wheelbase 118.4 in the SXC10 iii Jeep wheelbase 12.3 in. The RH 1/12 Willys Jeep is really cool looking, might need to pick one up.
Great truck, video, content and presentation. Some years back I had a Dragon 1.6 scale kit converted to RC using a donor chassis and other parts, she still runs well with Bruce Willis at the wheel. When the Roc hobby 1.6 truck was released at a considerably less price I acquired one out of curiosity wanting to do a comparison, outcome of which both had advantages in design, the Dragon has slightly more detail. I have acquired asset of alloy rims the same as the original rims, the increased weight provides a more even ride. The 1.12 version is tempting and is sure to be a another good seller. Driver figure, most shall need to lose the boots and potentially part of the legs.
They got the windshield dimensions right with this one. The bigger brother had them wrong, they were almost square. Too bad it's the same price as the 1/6 else I'd add it to my collection. But maybe prices will drop at some point 😉
I feel it well cas the 1/12 locks more like a 1/16 to me anyway and the bigger one the 1/6 I think locks like a 1/12 size so idk if that's me but there a lot smaller than what it says and again that's just my opinion
@@jacobreezyfpv6287 You're not wrong, the Scale is based on the body size. The original Willys is a super small vehicle so the model's body is actually 1/6 and 1/12. If you take the chassis as a reference, the bigger one is a standard 1/10 chassis and the smaller guy probably around 1/18.
ACTIVE STEERING WHEEL YASSSSS! ….signal lights, boooooooooooo! P.S. The performance seen here is very realistic at scale. I like the philosophy that a limited steering angle keeps it fun.
you cant compare this to the 1st release as that 1/6 might not be to 100% scale but performs way better than some other Crawlers and this is a cute addition to the collection - gotta get me one lol
Very very nice model!, For the price and realism in the top ten is a winner. Just springs too hard but in speed drivable and not too bouncy........ TEMPTING! Ciao
I almost feel the wpl c44km vs this jeep would be a good video I feel the c44 will outperform the jeep but the scale of the jeep might make it worth it if that's what you like cas there always a way to upgrade but the price will be the real factor for most and the c44 comes in at around 160$ for controller and resv3 sound kit and the jeep here around 260$ I fell that 100$ makes and or brakes
Hi, always liked your reviews on rc, I've owned the 1/6 scale version before, but only just recently bought the 1/12 version, my question is my transmitter is different, I've noticed that most, including yours have the same transmitters, I've also noticed a few videos where they have the transmitter I have, have you heard of this
I ordered my from Amazon, it arrives tomorrow. Would like to add a articulated soldier figure to it, have any ideas what would fit perfectly without cutting anything off ?
Lovely little package, especially the leaf spring and turning steering wheel, nice detailing. Only question why not in 1:10. If in 1:10 for sure for me.
The product information states that the jeep has 'offset differentials'. Does it have working/ open differentials or are the axels fixed (therefore no differentials). Thanks for the reply and nice review!
Looks great. They got the windshield right too (unlike the 1/6 scale version). Too bad it doesn't have a functional suspension system. Is there an upgrade to correct this?
Amazing Jeep, Francis. 1:12 scale means a 6” tall driver would be about right…would this size figure fit appropriately (without having to cut off legs) ?
Hey francis, I know it says 1/12 but ive owned a real one and it was tiny. Do you think it would fit well next to a 1/10 crawler? Same size drivers right? Im interested. Lemme know thanks
With an open cockpit like this, it looks completely wrong moving around without someone at the wheel. A good action figure is essential. I wonder if "Villa" would fit? She is 1:12 scale and I reviewed her on my channel a while back. See BlackSeaRC and tell me what you think.
Cool tech. I hate how nobody seems to get the scale of Jeeps correctly due to their being smaller. The springs are awful stiff though. (ruclips.net/video/bFfsfG0XK9o/видео.html for an example of a good cycling of springs for the MB.) I suspect a greater arch and having spring hangers more inboard would help? Wish you could compare it to vehicles of same scale too.
nice model. price is way tooo high. Not worth it. This piece should be 100 USD Max. I dont get why china has increased their profit targe with unproportionate margins.
they wasn't built for steady driving was built for action .got the real thing but still need one these
Love the detail, it does indeed represent the 3 wheel affect 100% well done man
Wow! What a beautiful vehicle! I may have to pick one of these up it’s too awesome!
I love my MB Scaler. Have to have that one too. Leaf springs really make it something special.
Amazing scaling and details on this Willy’s. Thanks for the review
My pleasure!

Great review! Mine's been on order for a while, can't wait to get it. Love all the scale details.

Yet another good review.

Nice little jeep,looks fantastic 😀👍
I have their 1/6 and it's fun and yes of course 1/12 is on its way to me too.

Great video, I love the car and I can get both of them over here in Sweden. 👍
Saw this at Hobby Town.
Thanks for showing us. When I heard leaf 🍃 👀 springs. That's definitely realism added. Have a awesome day Fellow Humans 😀.
Nice!! (action figure not included), it will fit just fine for 6 inch scale look! (B+)
Love the review thanks
I’d love to pick up the 1/6 but this looks great too
@@1Almightydeez you're gonna keep posting the same comment on an rc vehicle you've never even seen? You have stock in jjrc?
@@RCReviewChannel it’s like the Darude meme without the humor.
@@RCReviewChannel your right, I retract my prior statement 🙋♂️😅 great video and review Francis
Did any one else see that lizard in the first 2 mins
for sure. Photobomber that lil dude.
Dam Toys 1/12 figures will look good
Well, bought one. Just got 380 revolvers in that should drop in depending on the mount
Cool. I bought the 1/6 after seeing your video on it. Really one of the surprises of last year.
Love the case and the little willy lol I just picked up a ryft for axialfest i can't wait 🤗
Love your videos m8
Holly Molly - Man Now Im Feeling Real Old as I aint Heard that for like 40 Yrs hahahahaha love this channel :-)))
Can it be used with non lipo battery?
Gorgeous, wow.

Good question!
Thank you, nice review. I love the 1/6 scale but I will definitely pass on this one. Nice details but not much crawling ability.
Thanks for a nice video. Just curious, it’s the same than FMS one?
Do a comparison to the WPL C44km and C34km because they’re technically the same scale and the land cruiser was created as an answer to the jeep IRL
Made me want it 🤙
🙃🙃🙃🙃 Would be great at about 1/2 price! But really cool for sure! Thanks for the review.
Great video nice wee jeep can you get a trailer 😀
The product information states that the jeep has 'offset differentials'. Does it have working/ open differentials or are the axels fixed (therefore no differentials). Thanks for the reply and nice review!
How do you control the lights? I don't want hazards are but only use channel 4 to change them. Is there something else I should do?
would have prefered it being 1/10, I have the 1/10 humvee and woulve loved to add a willys to my collection
Gotcha. They wanted it to be about the same size as most 1/10 crawlers now.
Looks great. They got the windshield right too (unlike the 1/6 scale version). Too bad it doesn't have a functional suspension system. Is there an upgrade to correct this?
Metal or plastic?
1:35 a lizard want to ride ;D
Is it the same size as JJRC Willys? Thanks!
Great video!!!! What size figures would match this 1/12 Jeep? Would it be 3.5, 6 or 7 inch figures? Thank you!!!
Hi,
6 inch figures by Mezco fit, you.may need to remove boots.
Amazing Jeep, Francis. 1:12 scale means a 6” tall driver would be about right…would this size figure fit appropriately (without having to cut off legs) ?
I think 5 inch is best since Jeep is such a small vehicle in real life. The feet area is not very deep in this cabin.
Hey francis, I know it says 1/12 but ive owned a real one and it was tiny. Do you think it would fit well next to a 1/10 crawler? Same size drivers right? Im interested. Lemme know thanks
It's really like the size of a 1/16 crawler. Pretty darn small since the original one was small.
And it costs almost as much as the big one too
With an open cockpit like this, it looks completely wrong moving around without someone at the wheel. A good action figure is essential. I wonder if "Villa" would fit? She is 1:12 scale and I reviewed her on my channel a while back. See BlackSeaRC and tell me what you think.
The travel of the suspension is almost none. Otherwise a sweet Jeep.
Agreed, it's unrealistically stiff.
Just so you know it's not a Willys jeep it's a Ford GPW jeep look at the tool boxes on the back.

I don’t get the price. I got one from Banggood for $60. just like it and performs about the same.
It wasn't the Rochobby... there is a company that Banggood sells that makes one similar but not a very accurate Willys. Just a cheap RC. No offense.
I got to pass on this one because I already got the 1/6 scale
Happy with that? Got it all dialed?
Just bought it from Horizon Hobby for 99 bucks.
nice model. price is way tooo high. Not worth it. This piece should be 100 USD Max. I dont get why china has increased their profit targe with unproportionate margins.
Every military vehicle is not a crawler lmao!
