And yes during some time the twins would say "LESSS Twins" cause they realized people would call them that and wanted to make it easier I guess... BUT over the time they insisted on being called Les (Lé) Twins because the "Les" is the french signature of their name and they always wanted to represent their home everywhere in the world. We can say they kinda made up with the rejection they endured and that french part of them is very important in their eyes. 😌

Don’t be so hard on the locals. Les Twins are professional dancers who were mentored by Beyoncé and Missy, who danced with some of the best dancers in the world with CATS, and who are truly gifted. I love them, but realize that most people will lose in battles with them. It’s a no-brainer. I love that they keep to their dance roots.
Learning a lot about geography and everyday life, (and sometimes upper crust life), around the globe has been a side benefit of being a Les Twins fan for me. Yes they often say "Lez" Twins, partly just to show that they don’t mind the mispronunciation as long as people just know their name. They both get touchy sometimes about people correcting their English grammar and pronunciation. Laurent has occasionally snapped back saying, "Do you speak FRENCH ?!". I’ve picked up where I left off after my last college French literature class decades ago and have been studying French again every day for the last three years. My accent is getting much better, but learning a language can feel l like trying to swallow the an ocean teaspoon by teaspoon. I’m just beginning to appreciate being born in an English speaking country. French, with all of it’s verb forms and gender differences for nouns is harder to learn at first, but English is much more difficult later in a course. There are far more exceptions to pronunciation for English words that look like they might sound the same like dope and done and owl and bowl. French is more consistent in having rules that apply. I love that you brought up Les Twins’ ability to draw you into to their dancing. Watching them dance is such a compelling experience, that it feels like magic. I know that I will never have seen, nor will see anyone in the arts like them in my lifetime. I wish that I could see every moment of their lives that led to this uncanny genius.
Can I tell you your reaction was so turnt; "he almost buttoned his shirt" hell yeah... Check Lau out at around 6:46 though; OMG I love what music does to him. He goes into a zone for real. The only thing I don't like about this clip is it cuts out Lau's freestyle on "Worst Behavior" it's in another clip on YT. Les Twins party for awhile at that club and BTW, Yes, Vienna will shock you (I know it shocked me!)
It’s more than the musicality of the young man. It’s that the twins mentor young dancers and will always lift them up. Lau is a teacher. That sounds right.They need to make that young man a part of the Criminalz crew. Lol.
I notice mostly when someone challenges Laurent in particular to dancing and do a pretty good job, he always fake that challenger with a fake hand shake because he really gets bothered when someone " brings it". Then later he follows up with a hug or a real hand shake so as not to appear truly rude or having poor sportmanship.
