Thanks for this. I just started shooting last year, a recurve, and picked up some CF arrows yesterday. Wasn't aware it was this simple to trim them. Guess I have a project for tonight!!

Thanks Rip ! I am completely new to working with carbon and was afraid I'd have to toss out an arrow that has really only slight end damage. I was hesitant to use dremel or other high speed abrasive wheel due to dust hazard . You've saved the day with the file edge demo ! MUCH APPRECIATED !!!

Have you ever tried a brake line or pipe cutter they work great...true and square everytime.

You should always bare shaft tune
I would suggest googling Bareshaft tuning and you'll get multiple videos on the subject instead of me just telling you or you could call me on the phone and I could go over it more in depth
