About Josef Newgarden:
Josef Newgarden (born December 22, 1990) is an American race car driver who was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
He found a passion for racing at a very early age which immediately led to go kart racing prior to his pursuit of a professional motorsports career. He is the only American to win the prestigious Formula Ford Festival in England, a well-known proving ground for up and coming European drivers. After a foray into Europe he returned to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights Series, securing the championship in his one and only season. In 2012, he secured a multi-year contract to compete professionally in the NTT IndyCar Series, a rare offer for a rookie driver.
He is the 2017 and 2019 NTT Indycar Series Champion and drives the No. 1 Dallara Chevrolet for the legendary Team Penske.

Very underrated. He's not overly aggressive driver like Dixie, not as exciting as the nuts on road courses that make us go on the edge of your seat. Very nice to fans - genuine. Some drivers in autograph session have a look like WTF am I here for.
Testing needs to be turned into a whole week here with more coverage in the future

Thanks for making these. Great to watch your training sessions, especially with how you work in detail with your engineers. I want to race cars myself, so this is all very important for me to take note of and apply to myself.

It's crazy that indycar doesn't race at Sebring and Daytona.
Daytona is too fast for indycar on ovals. Road course there would be awesome.
How is it possible that world class international drivers, driving for world class teams, in arguably the most competitive 4-wheel racing series on Earth, for ostensibly a World Championship title, at a investment cost and return of tens of millions of dollars, fighting for a larger and larger share of a transitional television market, and for the opportunity for eternal glory, have one (1) day of testing before beginning a grueling, highly-competitive racing season.
If it wasn't true it would be laughable.
Because it is true, it is both mystifying and tragic.
