- In this Mexico Vlog we take a day trip from Cabo San Lucas to Los Cabos San Jose del Cabo! The area of Los Cabos is divided into two main cities 1. San Jose del Cabo & 2. Cabo San Lucas.
There is a bit of a rivalry between the two as to which one is the best Cabo, so we had to take a day trip from Cabo to see for ourselves! We showed up knowing very little about Los Cabos San Jose del Cabo and left with such a great appreciation for this special place. Throughout this video we do some comparisons between Cabo San Lucas vs San Jose del Cabo Mexico.
Not only do we check out Downtown San Jose del Cabo, we walk to the beach, explore the estuary a bit, enjoy a FANTASTIC lunch at Flora Farms, and end our day at the HIGHLY regarded San Jose del Cabo Art Walk that takes place on Thursdays in Plaza Mijares!

Hey John! Oh that’s great 😃 You may want to check out Acre as well - it’s by Flora Farms and is another farm to table and when we asked our waiter where he preferred he choose Acre. We wish you the best time! Don’t forget a hat and water - it’s a hot one here!
U can go to acre too , is near to floras and the concept of that place is amazing , I’m from San José and can recommend u some activities and places to visit 😊 , the place where they see birds is “ el Estero “ and there’s another entrance safety , and must to go to the beach “ Santa María “ too is more beautiful than Chileno and is nearest of Cabo San Lucas 😊

Excellent! You need to add some other stops at Baja California Sur, los Barriles, Todos Santos and Esther was living for some time at Santa Rosalía where you can find some each es with black sand from a furnace you can read about those places maybe you can find them interesting.

I know- a couple people from here told us about it! Locals said they liked Acre better which is another farm to table right down the road.
I just checked out their website … they are trying to help the bees and movie night under the stars .. that’s awesome.

I went to Los Cabos in Jan 2020, so pre-pandemic. I enjoyed the Art Walk the most. I am glad to see they kept it going. I prefer San Jose del Cabo over Cabo San Lucas because it's less touristy.

I was in San Jose about a month ago I found a charming the art walk was incredible I’ll never go back to Cabo San Lucas again they commercialize it too much there’s at least 1000 condos in time share the ruined it I’ve been going there for 25 years I’ll never go again Toto Santos is out of this world

So glad you discovered and got to experience Flora Farms. Perhaps our favorite restaurant on the planet for the food and experience. Hard to describe how amazing it is, but I think your reactions told the story. Regarding the beaches in San Jose del Cabo, many are very swimable and great body surfing.

Absolutely love San Jose over San Lucas. AWESOME video. Do you anticipate getting down to Santiago de Queretaro? You just may find you want to make that area your home base.

Definitely put it on the list. San Jose Del Cabo is so relaxing. We loved all the shops and art scene. It was a nice break from Cabo!

San Jose del Cabo is my favorite, I would say more genuine, refined, casual, calm, and personally friendly. A walk from the Resort area, ya, not much of a swimming beach, but Playa Palmilla, Chileno and Santa Maria are a short ride away. We have custom jewelry and art from San Jose. I highly recommend the Art Walk in San Jose, don't miss it! Find your way to the original Ivan Guaderrama gallery! God bless.
