What I'd love to see is what it is like on board with a full passenger manifest. Is it crowded feeling? Every video I see has either NONE of very few passengers. I'd love to see what the Restaurant is like during dinner, etc.
We completely understand that! However, we try to only film when there are no people present or at least fewer people in areas to respect personal space and privacy. If it helps, our cruise on Sky never felt crowded. 900 passengers seemed like a perfect amount for a ship that size!
@@watchuswander Costa Fascionosa... we got hit by a water tornado, and it was almost on it's side...I woke up to things flying across the room, and the room at a slant... people crying and running about with life jackets on etc... loads of plates smashed and bottles from the bar, and people falling over... was pretty crazy for a little while
Wow, that sounds so scary! Were you able to finish the cruise? We ran into some rough waters off the coast of Norway and I felt for the staff having to deal with so many broken dishes and flying furniture! But luckily it was temporary and no one was hurt!

Watch Us Wander. While I thank you for the tour, what engineering changes have been made to prevent the horrendous, near disaster re-occurring that befell this ship last March due to the unbelieveable incompetence by the design engineers regarding the oil tanks?
Yes, this is the ship that had engine failure off the coast of Norway and had to evacuate passengers by air. It happened a few weeks after we sailed. But by what we read and the crew we were still in contact with, it sounds like Viking handled it very well despite the horrific conditions.

We've only ever done one cruise, and it wasn't this fancy.... plus ours nearly sank on the 1st night

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what changes have been made, if any. It was quite an ordeal that I hope is never repeated!

Yes, they had it repaired and ready to sail again within just a few weeks. Only one or two sailings had to be canceled while the work was being done.
No viking for us! Worst ship ever- not worthy to talk about this ship
