Got to love the Coastal Command! Got a few birds that I want to do myself, Wellington, B-24, Catalina, Hampden....the Hampden is a favourite since my childhood and growing up in Sweden, think much thanks to a comic, Long or Short Wing Annie or something like that. I really hope that Airfix will do a new tooled kit of her AND the Stirling, they both deserve it!

No 36 Squadron reformed at Thanjavur in India on 22 October 1942, although it did not receive any aircraft until December that year when it was equipped with Vickers Wellington bombers for anti-submarine patrols off Madras. It flew its first convoy escort mission on 13 January 1943. two birds with one stone.
