Juvenile flying-fox in care on day 2-3; this is Duffy

Duffy is a juvenile male Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was found on the road and bundled up by a MOP and put into a box.
I honestly thought he'd probably be dead a few hours after I got him home, and wasn't expecting him to be bright and interactive though a little squidgy. Finding him still alive on day 2 was a complete bonus so I allowed myself to hope that he had a future, and once again, hoping too much was the wrong thing to do; I went and bought him some grapes and he was dead when I returned.
RIP little guy.
Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for our batties. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult).

The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie.
