Thanks again Sir! I was on your other vid with your advice to fix my Vbox and it worked for a little while, but the software I like to use OBS started to become really slow to a crawl. It used to work fine though. I tried troubleshooting and can't figure it out. The only thing is that I installed a security update from apple, which might be a coincidence? I'm also using an external HD to boot up, but like I mentioned it worked fine before! I would even use software with OBS that I would demo that wasn't available for Mac. Currently I installed the version of Win 10 you suggested hoping it won't be so bloated as you said, "it leaves out things you don't need". It just finished installing so tomorrow I will try again. I'll keep you posted.
after realising i didn't allocate enough storage to my virtual device, I made a new one. But when I went into the files to look for the Cd drive, it was replaced with a different one. what did i do wrong?
Thanks! the audio wasn't working for the longest time, then i installed it again and somehow it works now. Not sure what happened, the only thing i changed was allowing it less memory

Cant access my mac folders and usb drives and i have set them up they show in file explorer but when click on them says no root mount point how do i fix this
why can't I download the windows 10 ISO ? There always occurs an error and I don't know what to do since this one is the most essential step :(

Hey, I don't know if you are still replying to this video, but I wanted to know if you could help me fix an issue, i had downloaded The guest addition and after I rebooted it had been stuck on this black screen with 4 pixilated Microsoft logos all frozen, I've let it run for a few hours, opened and closed Virtual Box, and more but I can't fix it. Try to go to view and click full screen. Maybe that helps cause it worked for me

You don’t rlly need 64gb but if u want it then yes clear up a little bit of storage but you don’t have to you can just put it to 40gb
When I install win 10 on my mac VirtualBox it asks me to create the user before the win 10 instalation, and after that I have no admin rights at all. I cant download any file or install any software. Does somebody know the fix maybe?
I'm having a similar situation because I can't have the Guest Additions, windows asks for permissions but when I run it as admin it asks to give a user and passwords but there's nowhere to give the required info.

Just did the install using Virtual Box 6.1.32 and Windows November 2021 on my 2015 MacBook Pro. When starting the VM for the install of WIndows, the screen was TINY. Needed a magnifying glass to read it. After the install completed, I did install the VBox guest additions following your instructions. However, when resizing the window, only the window resizes -- the Windows portion stays at its tiny size, making it unusable for me. Any ideas what I might have done wrong? Thanks.

after having logged in press escape and this then fills then goes full screen, hope this helps.

It doesn’t ask me to select a virtual optical disk file, it just says kernel driver not installed
to fix that go to settings -> security & privacy -> and click that thing on the bottom that says allow

You need to download the ISO Windows file from Microsoft website, when installing the VirtualBox it tells you to select an optical disk file. Locate and click the file that you download from the Microsoft website.

Hey man, I’m having troubles with the VBox additions part. When I click “This PC” it just shows CD Drive(D:)-- the - is replacement for the text. Basically nothing like yours. If you need further details I’m more than happy to give.
Windows setup is stuck in an infinite loop ( 13:55 ), whenever it finish to installing Windows it says "Windows needs to restart to continue" and just run over and over the installation setup. Any clues ?

Well, just after posting my previous comment, I tried to maximize the screen -- success. I'll play with it some more to see if I can figure out what I did wrong.

@@alm1499 Click the single "screen" icon on the lower right side with the white base. Select "resize" percentage that fits best for you and it will scale everything larger.
