Some people may think that by using those terms it gives them more gravitas...
"I sold my" (insert brand name) or "I just bought" (insert brand name) sounds better than "I'm handing the car I hired/leased/was lent for marketing and clicks purposes" back to the suppliers.
It's all about showing off.
Back in the day there was a band, relatively successful, and they actually did go out and buy with real cash various different sports cars. Buying new ones every few months and selling them for huge losses. They found out very quickly that the bankruptcy rates for people doing this was quite high. They ended up flat broke after a few years of living like they owned oilfields but in reality just releasing a few crappy records.
These days people can rent a car, claim they own it just for the clout and to make money from RUclips.
I have no issues with this as that's how they make a living and good on them, sounds like a fun process.

I understand what some of you are saying, but that's just who Archie is. He gets a car, mods it, has it for a very short while and then he gets something new. That's his decision, his choice. Either accept it or else don't watch but no need to hate, it's what he wants to do. After all it's his channel and even if his leasing the cars, it's his name on the lease and his paying for it, not you. I bet most people dream of getting the opportunity to drive as many different cars as possible and well Archie is living that dream. Respect to him for that.
