This video brought me to tears. Going to a private Christian College has really opened my eyes to see that some may claim they are Christian but don’t have morals and values that line up, and I have been let down by many “Christian” Guys and these men brought a bit of hope and light to my life❤️

Same, coming from a christain school I can definitely agree that there are some people who claim to be Christian but really don't act like one. Its also the same people who made my life at that school a living hell cause I was constantly being bullied by them, I ended up leaving the school, THE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL. I just couldn't take it anymore. But luckily that didn't change my relationship with God, if anything my relationship with God only grew stronger ever since I left and I'm forever grateful for that.

The Bible points out something that in the last days there'll be lots of women seeking husbands...good men won't want plenty women, because the quality women are supposed to have as helpmeets is diminishing, and fast. I was really struggling lately with feeling pressured by the people around me to give in to sexual sin now that I'm in college and the Lord really answered my prayers with this video. I was starting to feel like the only way for the guys around me to be willing to take me seriously and to date me is if I'm willing to give my body to them which is something I just don't want to do! This video made me feel reassured and I'm really happy I found it!

Honestly, I think all of them said the right things and I appreciate their opinion. Like most of the people in comments, full hearted christian guys who are devoted to their faith are hard to find, so I give props to the guys in this video as well as others for being yourselves and not distracted by worldly things. I'm still praying to find a guy who is dedicated to his faith and a someone who I can trust and love that I can one day call my husband. Emotional boundaries aka situationships come from giving away too much too soon and also always looking for something in the opposite sex instead of finding all that in our everyday relationships with family and friends). Honestly the way they speak makes them all attractive. Such conviction and wisdom and above all putting God first.
Honestly, it’s so hard meeting guys who think in this way. It’s different being Christian with being Godly. Especially since being part of a ministry and many guys run away knowing a girl has a strong relationship with God. It’s honestly a challenge and i feel like many just want to be loved and forget that with God, we are already loved. Also, many guys just want to be intimate and just have “fun”. That’s also a challenge and temptation is always going to be there, and that’s why having a strong relationship with the Lord is so important and I feel like having someone in the same mindset as you is so important. That doesn’t stop temptation but having the Holy Spirit guide us is honestly so important to me. We all have a goal in the Lords path. It’s hard but not impossible.

As a 23 year old man I agree. I feel like an alien because I have Godly standards set for a women even before I was a believer I had housewife standards for a women. Nowadays men will be with literally anyone as long as the girl's physical appearance is somewhat attractive.

I think it comes down to intentionality. When a man is intentional and begins to pursue your feelings that’s a first move. Asking you out for coffee outside of our friends group for the intention of getting to know you more, that’s a first move.

I literally had the same question. Because for me I feel like first move is someone shows interest like you said starting a conversation, which I don't mind if a girl makes the first move. Pursuit is like asking someone out on a date or like 'Hey, I want to get to know you more' and I think that should be on the guy.
@@the.victorgeorge for me a first move is when he(or she) asks you out separate from the friend group, like me and my boyfriend went to lunch between classes in college and I consider that a first move. He officially asked me out a few weeks of talking and going out to eat and going to the park

Wow what Daniel said around 12:00 hit me like a box of bricks. Watch how you treat up ur girl friends so when you like a girl you clearly treat her different than all your girl friends. I feel like I’ve come to an age where you know I’m not smothering every guy who is my friend in hugs and attention and quality time because having been in a more serious relationship before, I’ve learned how special a deep, intimate, unique relationship is. You know, if the only difference between your boyfriend and your guy friends is that you kiss and cuddle a boyfriend but all other levels of your relationships with guy friends are the same as with a boyfriend, it takes away from that depth and intimacy you want cultivated in a romantic relationship. I’m so glad I can see that now and understand it so much more hearing those words put to it. I’m loving this video series; it’s so encouraging and helpful hearing from other believers who might be more serious or mature in their faiths than people you’re used to encountering and hearing from in your day to day life💙

I'm still in the seeking and learning process of God's principles for different areas of my life. so let God's word be the finally authority, but I'll tell you that you are on the right path to see another way that will give you life. I am learning to listen more and make more mental notes and when I make friendships versus judgements. I recently watched a video from Matthew Stevenson and it really broke down the stages of a relationship in hopes for an intimate one. I am currently married so dating doesn't really apply to me anymore but we still come across people and setting boundaries is necessary.

“Know yourself before getting into any relationship with someone” felt that…a lot of us get into relationships without dealing with our personal traumas or understanding why we do certain things and that ends up ruining something beautiful because we fail to take time to ourselves and work on ourselves individually.

These guys probably watch a lot of Paul Washer sermons because Paul speaks about relationships/friendships between men and women. There are boundaries. But it’s good to know there are Godly men who are praying for their wife, sometimes it feels like my standards are ridiculous but hearing what they want in a partner and how it’s what I want, it makes me realize this work is not in vain.
Honestly, the Lord is so honored with where you guys are at. It’s so special to hear your hearts in this video and know that you guys have a lot of wisdom from the Lord.
