Keep in mind that while avoiding the sun is effective in slowing the effects of aging and preventing skin cancer, there is a trade-off: all-cause mortality rises. Think of it this way, avoiding the sun helps keep the surface of the body healthy and looking good but at the expense of the health of the deeper body.
Hey Isaac. Anything for a 33yo male thats noticed dark circles and feels a little loss of volume under the eyes. I have youthful skin otherwise and im on finasteride
Aye bro What u think bout finasteride effecting neurosteroids? Name of study: The influence of low dose finasteride, a type II 5α-reductase inhibitor, on circulating neuroactive steroids
Hey Isaac You think my routine is good? aloe vera gel and Nivea Watergel spf 35 during day for face and retinol+niacinamide and nivea anti wrinkle night cream for night?
Im not a dermatologist but that sounds solid! Spf 35 is good. For antiaging you could consider graduating to a stronger retinoid. Retinol is one of the weakest retinoids. The best evidence for anti aging is for tretinoin which is a strong retinoid. It does cause more irritation however.
Hey I am a pharmacy student, and I found it pretty interesting that we take the same exact drug stack what a coincidence. Anyway, you might want to look into agomelatine a melatonergic antidepressant which I also use ob top of my bupropion to set my circiadian clock. It is a really interesting drug would love to hear your thoughts on it
Thanks for the video. What dosage of Bupropion are you on and for how long have you been on it? Worked super well for me but caused crazy hair-loss so I got off it. Bummer.
You shouldn't brush your teeth up and down, I was told by my dentist that the right way is to only brush in direction to the end of the teeth, that way you don't get food stuck in your gums
Irrelevant question but I’m would really like to know this. Does eating food right before taking or during taking finasteride or Dutasteride specifically vegan foods (beans, quinoa, etc.) affect the effectiveness or absorption of these drugs? I’m curious because I am vegan and doesn’t fiber affect absorption/effectiveness of meds just not top sure if this is true with these two drugs.
I guess that means my regimen is working! I have however lost a lot of density at the top of my head which I mask by using a pomade and sweeping my hair back and to the side. It also seems that my hairline is receding evenly across the front. Not a lot, but enough for me to notice. I think this pattern of hairloss has to do with my asian ethnicity (my mom is Chinese). Male pattern hairloss in asian individuals supposedly more closely resembles female pattern hair loss with leas prevalent frontal-temporal recession. In addition, each individual hair is thicker in asian individuals. I would guess that these two factors make my hairloss easier to mask than others.
plot twist: he is 53 years old anyway, in all seriousness, I thought electric toothbrush removing more plaque than manual hadn't really necessarily been proven. Spoke to a few dentists who use both in alternance to benefit from both in absence of a clear winner. My impression was that a manual toothbrush is just as good if used properly
Some years back I started using an electric toothbrush called "Goby." My dental hygienist was so impressed by my results that she got excited and told me she was sharing it with the dentists and her patients. 6 months later I asked her about it and I was told that the head dentist shut her down and she wouldn't tell me why.
When taken at therapeutic doses, i dont believe that antidepressants are neurotoxic. Untreated depression on the other hand seems to shrink the hippocampus and places the individual at greater risk of experiencing additional depressive episodes
I would believe that chronic anxiety disorders cause similar damage to the brain. In the context of mental illness, i would imagine that taking an antidepressant (if indicated, effective etc) would be neuroprotective
It certainly seems that way in the media because those stories get eyeballs and clicks but the truth is, most men are happy with the effects of finasteride.
I assume you obviously do lots of reading and study. How do you deal with the brainfog aspect of finasteride? I feel like I have trouble reading/concentrating on fin. Did you have any such sides
Great content! Thanks for your honesty too with what you use!
Thank you and no prob!

Great content. Love to see more on how to reverse sun damaged skin. I have started using retinol and vit c as they have been proven to be effective.

what's your thought on dutasteride

no difference
Balding since 19? How? You have a perfect hair line.

I cant cite this right now so i’ll guess you’ll have to take my word for it
@@isaacwadepharmd3969 how old are you now ?
@@isaacwadepharmd3969 can you show what your hair looked like before treatment?
That guy has no signs of hair loss
plot twist: he is 53 years old

I would imagine manual brushing would be good if used correctly! Unfortunately my brushing technique is subpar :(

Wait. You're taking accutane for skin maintenance?
Do antidepressants cause brain damage like using benzos?
When taken at therapeutic doses, i dont believe that antidepressants are neurotoxic. Untreated depression on the other hand seems to shrink the hippocampus and places the individual at greater risk of experiencing additional depressive episodes
I would believe that chronic anxiety disorders cause similar damage to the brain. In the context of mental illness, i would imagine that taking an antidepressant (if indicated, effective etc) would be neuroprotective
I do personally take an antidepressant however so my opinion is biased to some degree though lol

Finasteride can cause profound sexual dysfunction that doesn't improve even when it is stopped.
This guy says he’s on anti depressants too. I believe his dick doesn’t work
It certainly seems that way in the media because those stories get eyeballs and clicks but the truth is, most men are happy with the effects of finasteride.
Are you wearing sunscreen everyday even indoors?
I try and wear sunscreen indoors as well! That being said, I found out recently that I have rosacea so my skin is probably more delicate than yours!
Who else uses almost everything on this list? Lol
great hair, smooth skin, limp noodle -seems a waste
Im in 😻
The guy on index 0:31 is not you. You just want to post this video for some financial gains.

Dutasteride and ru58841 does not work for me
Did you get watery semen from finasteride? I didn't have any sexual sides but did notice watery semen
