What is your Minecraft or graphics configuration because I also have the RX 6600 and vanilla Minecraft only reaches 700 fps and with shaders at 100 fps
one way of optimizing performance a TON is by using the fabulously optimized modpack. it does actual magic. also consider installing some drivers for your graphics card, if you havent already.
please do a benchmark with the following setting formats: Minimum: 10 chunks render 5 chunks sim, no fancy graphics/clouds, no shaders, mipmap levels 1 medium: 16 chunks render 8 chunks sim, fancy graphics and clouds, no shaders, mipmap levels 2 high: 20 chunks render 10 chunks sim, fancy graphics and clouds, no shaders, mipmap levels 3 super high: max chunk and 12 chunk sim, fancy graphics and clouds, no shaders, mipmap levels 4 please benchmark in the following: (use java 1.20.1 and JAVA. i cannot stress this one detail enough) world 1: find a plains biome and village world 2: find a giant mountain world 3: bamboo jungle Thanks! someone who wants minecraft on an rx 6600 or 7600 one day in 2024
What's your RAM specs? and I think R5 5600 is pretty close to your CPU,it's about how the game can utilize the machines we have so maybe there's a bottleneck going on. Also,what monitor are you using? Is it at least 100hz? ALSO,also,make sure you don't have any problematic driver or having something going on in the background. If all checks out and you still having lags,idk man,something's wrong with your computer
@jakeeYT Absolutely positive. Recently built three of my friends' PCs with an RX 6700 XT, an RX 6600, and an RX 580 2408sp, respectively. All three of them had absolutely no stuttering issues whatsoever with minecraft.

Cool, but you're using 5600x. Whoever is going to use this card will definitely use a top 5500, 3600, 10400f, and not a processor like that. So it's kind of weird
Just get Ryzen 5 7600 am5 motherboard ddr5 future proofing is important I got 7600 b650m hdv motherboard 32gb ram DDR5 now I will get rx6600 then after a year I will get 7900xt or xtx or entirely new GPU from AMD that will come this year or might go for Nvidia if prices seem reasonable with super cards lol

For some reason, shaders perform poorly on my RX 6600. Nostalgia runs at around 30 FPS most of the time.
