You know what would be a cool Easter Egg, if every one of those dates listed are major content drops for the life of the game. Like, game release 12th Sept, 1st major content drop Nov 28th, that'd be cool to know the development path from the beginning.

Map looks incredible! Traffic density, the elevation, the lighting. They really knocked it out of the park. And especially pleased to be seeing even more TDU2 cars returning. This time with the 2000s Ford duo--the GT and GT500.
they need to fix indoor lighting the ppl and buggati look photoshopped in like its no shadows or detail

They have issues with their engine, the game isn't very well optimized I believe, but they're working on it I guess.

All I'm missing is the entry level cars. I'd love to start with some random used shitbox for example and slowly build up the car collection all the way to the top. I want to feel like I've earned everything instead of being given everything.

@@williamhoward1799 I actually didn't notice them! Although what I had in mind was more like the shitboxes you start with in Underground 2, Gran Turismo etc. Modern cars but pretty basic ones, daily drivers pretty much. I liked that they included many of the TDU2 classics though!
Seeing that M4 whip around the corner😮💨 suspension is insane. They have really been cooking since the start. I have no doubt in my mind that all we’ve been wanting besides houses 😏will be taken care of. Thank you Alex for keeping up with it all you’ve done a phenomenal job👏🏽👏🏽. Can’t wait to see what you do in the game comes out.

Imagine if BMW and Audi not having turn signals was a feature and they'll only change it if the shitstorm gets big enough. Lf course they chose 1 or 2 other brands too to not be exposed easily. Then they could be like "Oh, sorry, we must've overseen that bug."

6AM upload!! This trailer was super cool and exciting, I love how many cars there were in the trailer, The graphics and map also look much better. Not really a fan of the season pass and preorder stuff but I can tell the game will be amazing still!!
6:23 I can't remember from alpha testing, and other videos/screenshots, but if that's the Street HQ, there's pedestrians outside of it. Not seen in the GTR screenshot awhile back and at TDUSC connect.

@@TheAlexVII I knooooow bro, it was exciting but also emotional man. 😂 Call me weak but listen, a lot of my childhood therapy came from TDU 1&2. It also is one of the things that gave me ambition because it was the only thing that gave you a genuine taste of the highlife. Insane.

I still play TDU2 to this day on Xbox 360, and seeing the Shelby GT500 take that right turn is so satisfying now and not watching it do a full 360 spin in the process 😅

Last time we saw the alpha build this time, Testdrive TDUSC wants back it’s title from Forza Horizon. The hypes over let’s drive. Now I’m waiting to see market reports for investors.

you can buy houses its confirmed by a dev but he said it wasn't originally to be in the game, but everybody wanted it so they decided to add it some point down the road

The first disappointment when TDU 2 was released (before finding out about the horrendous physics and wheel support) was about the switch from realistic/immersive to more stylized/cartoony graphics.
What struck me in this trailer, at about the time when you mentioned the game looking better than it, was that they returned to the first TDU's visual style, and I couldn't be more excited.
I really hope we get quickly get crucial additions though: map expansions (crossing fingers for Ibiza in TDU 1's visual style), and houses, paint shops etc...).
I'll believe it when I see it.

At first I thought some of the car choices seemed strange. I.e the 2010 gt500. Alpha 8c, slk etc. However they have clearly reskinned a lot of cars from TDU2. Probably because it’s cheaper but that is slightly concerning that the car list is out dated before the game even comes out.
I cant wait. But one thing. All clips of the city, looks like very flat. Hongkong city is not like San Francisco, builded on a Hill? The videos of hongkong driving on real life looks like every street are down or up side. Sorry by my english.

Alex has asked devs that when tdusc reaches the end of it's shelf life it can be played offline.
At 3:49 there is this weird graphical artifact on the ground probably because of motion blur. With the misplaces containers it looks kinda like a cubemap.
At 4:20 (I promise unintentional) you can see the tree branches that are not aboce the screen, but at the right part there is a building that kinda fades out?
It seems we are getting mix of SSR and cubemaps.
Which means that the game does not have implemented RTX, or if it does, it looks super good without it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one paying attention. The trees aren't moving, puddles are still, and the dirt flicks look weird. The game looks promising, but this needs to be addressed.

The average gamer doesn’t even know what you’re talking about or going to care. Because I’m trying to see what you’re saying and have no idea what you’re looking at but for a double A studio small studio this game looks impressive. Especially from the first reveal the game comes out in September. So I’m sure whatever small critiques you’re talking about it’ll be ironed out by September that’s 5 months. I thought this game was supposed to have a form of Ray Tracing though I thought Alex said it in in a video.

During stream I think Alex said it was supposed to have single player but he said it was like single player events so idk it’s like every racing game nowadays is online only smh even NFS Unbound is online only it has a story mode but you need internet connection to play it
The shadows are looking odd imo. Especially when the cars are driving over puddles it looks like the cars aren’t blocking the light bouncing to the wet surfaces. Makes the cars look like they are floating. In general besides the cinematic environment shots the lighting doesn’t look good compared to nfs 2015 for example which is almost 10 years older
Nfs 2015 is always nighttime, it's baked in.
Meanwhile this game has 24hr cycle with weather, therefore lighting is more complicated

Man the character models look kinda cartoony. The game looks less realistic but it looks a lot more polished now. I wouldve been fine with February 2025 since we've waited so long anyway if that meant they could really polish it, but can't wait to play this finally in a couple months.
