Finally started from Seattle at age 65, got as Far East as Bali before Covid but did make it to Hawaii, Fiji, NZ and Aussie! Hope to continue after the lockdowns end! Thank you! Nat King Cole had such a gorgeous voice!

Thanks for the production. I first saw the movie when I was 11, viewed in a very small town in California. The movie opened my eyes to to size of the world and helped to transform me into an adventurer. Gracias for the memories.
The movie did the same to me. It opened my eyes to the many countries in this world and and lit up my unquenchable thirst for travel. First thing I did was to leave my small hometown in the Philippines and migrate to the United States from where I could travel more freely and more affordably to any country in the world. No one will ever surpass Niven's Phileas Fogg, but Pierce came close; if ever there was cinematic perfection, "Around the World in 80 Days" is the sine par. And Victor Young's score only adds more to "The Magic"
It's a very entertaining movie which starred David Niven and a very young Shirley McLaine. It's fun to see many major Hollywood actors (at the time the movie was released) doing cameo roles as natives of the many countries visited by David Niven and his sidekick. Thanks.

My parents took me to see this and now, this song brings back memories that I thought were lost. Music can do this like nothing else.
