  • This is a very rare clip released Circa 1969 of Free performing All Right Now (live). Released in Australia in B&W. My favourite clip by this band and highlights Paul Kossoff's signature vibrato. Best lead ever done by Kossoff!

Had Paul Kossoff lived he'd be amongst the best rock guitarists ever. What a talent.

And to think that Paul Rodgers STILL sings like that today!! A true statement of a great vocalist!

We will never know what Paul Kossoff had left in him had he lived another 20+ years. Even dying so young he leaves a legacy that will keep his memory alive forever in "Rock and Roll Heaven"...

These guys were amazing, The Voice, the drums, the ability to play the guitar, you could see it in the beginning, it is what rock eventually rolled into, everybody emulated Styles like this but as far as vocals are concerned Paul Rodgers probably one of the best of all time have any singers all his soul was incredible more importantly I would like to know who the hundred and twenty seven people or Jack wagons are that would vote thumbs down on this song or the video they're watching history and it's an incredible song idiots!!!

Great example of just how good bands really were in those days. Even with the poor quality video and audio, this still rocks miles ahead of most of the shit that is around these days

The pre-Bad Company Raw Sound. Bad Company with Paul Rogers captured the heart of real Rock and Roll! Like the old bluesie sounds of Canned Heat these guys never got REAL big like Zeppelin or Stones but they held their niche and will continue to hold it for any true Rockers. I hope the kids of today hear and love this stuff. What memories...

I absolutely love how Kossoff fretted his chords. He is unusual and not mainstream with how he played them. So cool.

Even though I'm only 20 years old, I think this stuff (and even some stuff up to the 90's) is better than today's crap.

Paul Rodgers’s voice is simply incredible. He will not be listed, but he has one of the top 10 voices in “classic rock.”

First heard this at my uncles house in Aboyne near Aberdeen when it first came out on the album fill your head with rock. Played it all holiday with my cousin John Woodcock in their lovely house in Scotland. It always hits a note as my cousin was killed on the Piper Alpha in that tragic accident and I never saw him again after that, how sad is that? RIP John!

    I can not argue there.
I listened to Free Live this morning and it is so musical and soulful. These guys had soul. And the talent to back it up. Kossoff and Ralphs (and Page of course) were the reason as a 16 year old I bought my 72 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. It is still my pride and joy. Kossoff and Ralphs taught me there was a time to play fast and more importantly a time for slow, heartfelt bends.
    Under-rated indeed.
But the mighty ship Zep? Forever the kings
