Has been relevant ever since highschool days. Then in college and now even after almost 20 years of leaving kohima, still relevant. Not everyone but some certain parts of kohima are proud beyond tolerable.
Fact: no big deal if the culprits are relatives of politician they will be bail out in few months thats how nagaland works..

If you know what I'm trying to say. inocent person lost his life n this is not the first time in kohima (although not up to the extent of murder). I myself is also a victim n I know many more people who faced like this. In 99 case the accuse will say sorry n we are ask to forgive them n we forgive them but our life we suffer from the impact received from the injuries. Just for few uncivilized person the community will be looked with negative impression by other people nw.

Walking down in two with my friends and we seat on a restaurant to having ghalho an a group of ladies in group discussing about this incident.
Was really shock and surprise to know they were more concern upon those two guys then the victim. They keep on saying u nou mezhie le, and ule ule. As my friend to to translate their discussion after they left. It seems they were discussing about those two guy family and so on started saying for they didn't do intentionally etc. Speechless after knowing it. How can one be so heartless forgeting the victim who was someone father, uncle, brother, son who is no more with them.
For them their own Village memeber or people more important.
As a mother we tend to ignore ot correct our children proper way but we can pin point each and every step upon someone children if they commita mistake.

I am particularly ashamed to see such a disgraceful act committed by two young individuals, and even more so by those who support them. As a Naga, I find it deeply troubling that such disrespect for our elders, a cornerstone of Naga culture, has been displayed.
My heart goes out to the victim and their family. The loss of a life is irreplaceable, and the least the perpetrators could have done was to apologize, rather than standing up for their so-called rights or even letting people stand for their so called -rights after committing murder. It is beyond comprehension how anyone could justify such an act.
Being irritated by someone honking or overtaking another car is no excuse for following them and committing murder. This behavior reflects a severely disturbed mindset. No matter their size or status as bodybuilders or wrestlers, they are not above the law. If they were genuinely angry, they should have taken the matter to the authorities.
I am profoundly ashamed and sorry for this incident. It highlights a disturbing lack of education and respect among some individuals, and it is a stark reminder of the importance of upholding the law and our cultural values.

It’s not just a road rage that went wrong. It’s the venue where it happened, had this been in Dimapur with the same two individuals, they’d be inside the car wondering what’s wrong. Watching the footage and looking at one of the individuals stance when he himself opened the victim’s door says a lot.
