There's an entire batch of Hypa Hypa versions as Electric Callboy released their MMXX EP as a "Hypa Hypa"-version. They collaborated with a bunch of other German artists during the pandemic to create other versions of Hypa Hypa. I recommend listening to the cover versions by "Saltatio Mortis", "Axel One", and "We Butter the Bread with Butter". The music videos are awesome.
The version with Sasha is one of the seven remixes of Hypa, Hypa, which cover various genres. The recorded these version during the pandemic, including country and Hiphop. Sasha was big in 90ies and in the beginning of the 2000 in Germany.
Besides the original, this pop version with Sasha and the Saltatio Mortis folk metal version are my favorites! Also I have used Sasha's one to introduce my mom to EC, and now she is Sasha's fan 😅
Great reaction again! As others mentioned, EC released Hypa Hypa during the pandemic and as they couldn't tour/promote their song much, they collaborated with various other German bands to release different versions of the song: Sasha (Pop), Saltatio Mortis (Folk Metal, my fav cover of Hypa Hypa), we butter the bread with butter (deathcore), 257ers (rap), axel one, ... Let's tick of Hypa Hypa from the list: -1. We got the moves- -2. Hypa Hypa- 3. Everytime we touch (i don't think there's an official live version of this out on ECs channel - only fancams. There'd be their full concert from Rock am Ring where everytime we touch is at timestamp 18:24. This song is ECs cover of Cascada's dance song from the 2000s) 4. Pump it (next to the official video they have two live versions of this ion their channel. The one from denver is def great, not sure about the other one) 5. Mindreader (this would be the first more serious song of EC you'd listen to. Next to the MV, there'd only be the live version of the Rock am Ring concert at timestamp 1:02:17) 6. Tekkno Train (Next to the MV, there'd only be the live version of the Rock am Ring concert which is the start of the set) 7. Hurrikan 8. Parasite (another serious song. The MV has live footage included) 9. Spaceman (next to the MV, there have a good live version of this song on their channel from Hamburg in 2023) 10. Hate/Love (another serious song. technically, the first song EC wrote when Nico joined the band but it was their second release post Nico after hypa hypa. Next to the MV you could do the concert from Rock am Ring timestamp 14:46) 11. MC Thunder I (this was from pre-Nico times. if you wanna have a version with nico you could eg do their live version from Berlin on their channel) 12. Fckboi (next to the MV, the live version on their channel from Denver is good) 13. Castrop X Spandau (this is one youtuber's Kalle Koschinsky channel. There's a live version on EC's channel from Leipzig) 14. MC Thunder II (next to the MV, there'd be a live version from the rock am ring concert timestamp 5:20) 15. Arrow of love (next to the MV, there'd be a live version from the rock am ring concert timestamp 27:10)
Yes, Electric Callboy has a whole bunch of "outfits" that they use on stage. They usually go for a "look" when they make the video, and then bring that to the live shows with them :)
Originally they made "Hypa Hypa" and it turned into a success and even became viral during the pandemic. So Electric Callboy challenged other German artists to make their version / cover / remix of "Hypa Hypa", which spawned 7 additional versions of "Hypa Hypa". Their EP "MMXX" was then re-released as "Hypa Hypa Edition", which contains all of those alternative versions too. Check out the versions of Saltatio Mortis (warning - their music video is only available on Saltatio Mortis YT channel, not on ECs!) and WeButterTheBreadWithButters version.
Everyone has their favourite but the Saltatio Mortis version of Hypa Hypa is VERY catchy. We Butter The Bread With Butter, yes that's actually the bands name, their version is just nuts. 1000% metal and completely insane!
Seen them live in Stuttgart/Germany in February. What a blast !!! So much fun, so much energy on and in front of the stage. Keep going, you'll never be disappointed.🤘🤗
There are WAY MORE than just two versions: - the original - feat. Saltatio Mortis - feat. Sasha - feat. 257ers - feat. Gestört aber geil - feat. Axel One - feat. We Butter the Bread With Butter - feat. The BossHoss
Sasha (Schmitz) is actually a very well-known pop singer in Germany who also did rockabilly in 1970. For Rockabilly he is called Dick Brave and his band the Backbeats. ruclips.net/video/d54Or7FuzNs/видео.html

"Such a great voice, too!" That final "turrrrrrn the liiiiiiight" melts me into a puddle on the floor every time.

pure unadulterated joy right here, electric callboy is an experience

Callboy bring the beats and joy, can't listen to them and not smile or bang your head... they are heavy metal ABBA 😁😁
Check out the making of the video, epic Soap!
Definitely recommend checking out TankTheTech's concert vlogs. A great behind the scenes view of EC's concerts.
I was at the concert.
I go to concerts all the time. For a long time and almost every week.
No other concert has ever been as much fun as this one!
EC are not only cool with reaction videos, they also make compilations of reactions on their own channel (ruclips.net/video/9CQGZ51vgo8/видео.html).
You ahould check out TankTheTech! He reacted to their Videos and is the tour manager now :)
Seen them live in Stuttgart/Germany in February.

Awesome! Please react to the We Butter Bread With Butter version of Hypa Hypa, the Electric Callboy boys are in that too!
My favourite is the Axel One cover
We butter the bread with butter version of Hypa Hypa will break your brain, its so good. It may be a bit much lol
During Corona bands cant tour, so EC send hypa hypa to other artists snd bands and ask for covers. There are seven versions
There are 8 versions of Hypa Hypa at least.
