Its always kinda weird to see how older generations imagined Lord of the Rings.the image in my mind is so influenced by the films and Alan Lee's art that it's just... kind of out place. I wonder what images Tolkien saw in his mind...
This disturbingly makes me wonder if Tolkien was right, and that theater was no place for fantasy. A werewolf will always look like an actor in a suit. An elf will always look like a human with pointy ears. A halfling will always look like Elijah Wood with forced perspective. Instead of the unfiltered state that they exist in within our imagination. That's the real joke. Pop culture loves to say how D&D and LoftR could never coexist, as one is about "kill this thing, take their stuff" (never mind Role Players who'd have loved such a world)... But in truth... it's actually closer to how Tolkien felt fantasy was BEST experienced, within the subject's own imagination, rather than the imagining being done for them on stage/screen.
Red Feathered Knight: "So, wizard, is this the door the tome spoke of?" Tired Ginger Dwarf: "All I see is some wall with a decoration! Let's look somewhere else!" Wizard: "Calm yourself dwarf! Aye, this be it. Let us set camp here. The process to travel through this portal will take all night." The Three Triplet Halflings: (In unison) "Let's get started on camp!"
In a land of magic, far away, A wizard woke at the break of day, With a pointed hat and a robe of blue, He gathered his merry, mischievous crew. First was Finn, with a sword so bright, A brave young knight, full of might, Then came Lina, with a bow and a grin, Her arrows flew true, always a win. By their side was Pip, the clever gnome, With gadgets and tricks, he called home, And don't forget Nia, the talking cat, Quick with her wit, and quicker than that! "To the mountains tall!" the wizard cried, "Where dragons soar and secrets hide, We'll find the gem of endless light, And bring it back before the night." Through forests thick, and rivers wide, They journeyed with laughter as their guide, The trees would whisper, the winds would sing, As they traveled beneath the dragon’s wing. They faced a troll, big and bold, But Finn stood firm, strong and cold, Lina’s arrows flew like rain, And the troll stumbled back in pain. Pip’s gadgets whirred, with a whizz and a pop, Nia’s claws made the monster stop, Together they fought, side by side, Until the troll had nowhere to hide. Onward they went, with spirits high, Till the dragon’s peak touched the sky, There in a cave, glowing bright, Was the gem of endless light. But a dragon fierce, with scales so red, Guarded the treasure in its bed, The wizard smiled, calm and sure, And with a spell, made the dragon purr. The beast laid down, its fire gone cold, For the wizard’s magic was pure and bold, They took the gem, their quest complete, And started back on nimble feet. Back through the forest, over the streams, With the gem that shone with brilliant beams, They returned to their village, where cheers arose, For the heroes who had faced many foes. The wizard, with his crew so brave, Had found the gem within the cave, They placed it high, for all to see, And danced beneath the ancient tree. And so the tale of their adventure ends, With laughter, magic, and new friends, But in that land, still far away, Another quest awaits someday!
New album and bandcamp coming soon!

As much as I love the LOTR movies, its nice to go back to the pre movie era look and imagine what Tolkien envisioned. Really fires your imagination.
is it good i never watched any lord of the rings movie
@@bumpersincapped A bit sad, maybe. But happy, as in the future, you will (hopefully) get to experience the magic for the very first time :)
@@JumalaPlaysthe books are much, much better.

90s RPG Nostalgia ❤
Make a longer version i love listening to these when I'm going to bed
In a land of magic, far away,
A wizard woke at the break of day,
With a pointed hat and a robe of blue,
He gathered his merry, mischievous crew.
First was Finn, with a sword so bright,
A brave young knight, full of might,
Then came Lina, with a bow and a grin,
Her arrows flew true, always a win.
By their side was Pip, the clever gnome,
With gadgets and tricks, he called home,
And don't forget Nia, the talking cat,
Quick with her wit, and quicker than that!
"To the mountains tall!" the wizard cried,
"Where dragons soar and secrets hide,
We'll find the gem of endless light,
And bring it back before the night."
Through forests thick, and rivers wide,
They journeyed with laughter as their guide,
The trees would whisper, the winds would sing,
As they traveled beneath the dragon’s wing.
They faced a troll, big and bold,
But Finn stood firm, strong and cold,
Lina’s arrows flew like rain,
And the troll stumbled back in pain.
Pip’s gadgets whirred, with a whizz and a pop,
Nia’s claws made the monster stop,
Together they fought, side by side,
Until the troll had nowhere to hide.
Onward they went, with spirits high,
Till the dragon’s peak touched the sky,
There in a cave, glowing bright,
Was the gem of endless light.
But a dragon fierce, with scales so red,
Guarded the treasure in its bed,
The wizard smiled, calm and sure,
And with a spell, made the dragon purr.
The beast laid down, its fire gone cold,
For the wizard’s magic was pure and bold,
They took the gem, their quest complete,
And started back on nimble feet.
Back through the forest, over the streams,
With the gem that shone with brilliant beams,
They returned to their village, where cheers arose,
For the heroes who had faced many foes.
The wizard, with his crew so brave,
Had found the gem within the cave,
They placed it high, for all to see,
And danced beneath the ancient tree.
And so the tale of their adventure ends,
With laughter, magic, and new friends,
But in that land, still far away,
Another quest awaits someday!
